About Ilkley Denture Clinic

Ilkley Denture Clinic provides Bespoke Natural looking dentures to members of the public.We use the latest techniques and materials to provide high quality comfortable dentures that restore not only the patients chewing ability and smile, but we also help restore lost facial contours due to the natural ageing process.

Many people are dissatisfied with their old traditionaly constructed dentures, it is our goal to help improve this situation.

By carefully listening to the patients concerns,hopes and fears and discussing our joint goals we create the ideal opertunity for a successfull outcome.

Ilkley Denture Clinic operates within an existing dental practice and can arrange other dental treatments if required.

Acrylic dentures are the most popular type of denture,We at Ilkley Denture Clinic use the latest techniques when fabricating our dentures these include injection moulding and intra oral tracing ensuring great fitting dentures, A natural appearance is obtained using top quality multi layered teeth which are individually placed according to lip tounge and cheek position.

Chrome Dentures

Cobalt Chrome dentures offer light strong and comfortable solutions for people with missing teeth.

Dentures Adjustment

Relines and adjustments can extend the life of dentures they can also reduce oral trauma caused by ill fitting, badly constructed plates.

Dentures Repair

Broken dentures can often be repared while you wait.

Flexible Partial Dentures

Flexable dentures can often be the solution for patients who cannot tolerate conventional acrylic or chrome cobalt plates.

Ivoclar BPS denture system is also available from our clinic this system uses injection moulding techniques wich are far superior to the standard method of denture production.

Immediate Dentures

When teeth are extracted we need to fill the space as soon as possible this is done with an immediate denture.These help retain a healthy remaining natural dentition and remove the ugly space left behind

Overdentures

Overdentures are often used in conjunction with implants or retained roots, we use small clips or studs that firmley anchor the dentures in place, this greatly improves the patients chewing ability and restores confidence.

Removable Partial Dentures

Partial dentures of all types eg Cobalt Chrome,Acrylic,flexible. It is important to replace a missing tooth to stop drifting and overeruption of the remaining dentition. Clasps are often used to secure partial dentures these can be in gold or stainless steel. If required we can even construct clasps with tooth coloured resin making them far less obvious.

Denturist Consultation

We offer a free initial consultation where we discuss the options available and offer advice reguarding the best solution for you. If any natural teeth remain we will arrange a full dental checkup before denture construction starts.

Implant Dentist Consultation

Implants are the best option for securing dentures they can restore up to 80% of the patients chewing ability. They do cost considerably more than regular dentures and minor surgery is involved but the end result is worth the effort and expense.

Mouth Guard

We can construct mouth guards of all types team colours, stripes, logos .
