Ritu qualified as a dentist in 1992 from Guys Hospital, London. She worked in general practice and in the hospital service for several years before training in Orthodontics for 3 years at Kings College Hospital, London and The Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford. She obtained a postgraduate degree in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2002. She is registered as a specialist with the (Registration No. 68593) and .
Her philosophy to have a personal, friendly & professional approach to the care of her patients. She is interested in modern progressive orthodontic techniques which give the best possible treatment outcomes. She regularly attends professional development courses to update her skills & knowledge.
She has worked in the hospital service for virtually all her professional life and is continuing to do so as part of the orthodontic team at St. Richards Hospital. She divides her professional time between her specialist practice and the hospital service. She has been involved in teaching trainee orthodontists, dentists and nurses.
She lives in Chichester with her husband and two young daughters. When she has time for hobbies, she enjoys gardening, swimming and watching movies.
She gained her dental nurses qualification which allowed her to be registered with the General Dental Council and she went on to study harder and obtain her Specialist Orthodontic nursing qualification. She is also certified in taking impressions and assists the orthodontists in the treatment room.
