Orthodontics For You, West Midlands

I studied dentistry at Bristol University and qualified in 1993. I gained postgraduate experience in various fields of dentistry working both in general dental practice and the hospital system before deciding to specialise in Orthodontics which had always been the area of dentistry I enjoyed most.

I qualified in Dentistry from Bristol University in 1993 and then went on to work in various hospital Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery departments gaining experience in all aspects of oral surgery.

Studying Dentistry at the University of Birmingham, I qualified in 1997. I have worked in both general dental practice and in the hospital setting, gaining experience in all fields of dentistry.

I completed my Dental degree at the University of Manchester in 2008, after which I worked as a general dentist for several years in the Midlands. I then decided to broaden my dental skills and gain invaluable experience, by working within the hospital environment in various Maxillo-facial surgery and Paediatric positions in the North West.

After studying dentistry in Chennai, India I then went on to do a Masters course in Orthodontics.

I have worked in dentistry in Solihull for most of my working life. I gained the National Certificate as a Dental Surgery Assistant in 1987.

I have worked in dentistry for the last 20 years. As a dental nurse I had always had an interest in orthodontics and in 2017, I completed training to become an Orthodontic Therapist with the University of Warwick under Dr. Forty. Alongside this, I work within the Community Dental Service treating special needs and anxious children and well as working in private practice as a hygienist.
