Antonia studied dentistry at the University of Birmingham, qualifying in 1997. Following graduation, she worked both in general dental practice and in the hospital setting to complete her general professional training. During this time, she gained experience in all fields of dentistry including paediatric, restorative, oral medicine and surgery.
Antonia then worked an additional two years in oral maxillofacial surgery, and in 2001, was admitted as a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow.
She started Orthodontic specialist training at Bristol Dental Hospital in 2002, and gained the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Edinburgh in 2005. During this time, she was also awarded the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery (Orthodontics) from Bristol University.
Antonia has also lead a clinical trial and been published in The Angle Orthodontist in January 2006 (Vol 76, Issue 1).
Antonia is registered as a Specialist Orthodontist with the General Dental Council (GDC number 73055) She is also a member of the British Orthodontic Society and attends conferences and postgraduate training courses.
Away from orthodontics, Antonia is married, lives in Bimingham, and has two young daughters.
