Seema qualified from the University Of Leeds back in 2008 with Honours. Since graduating, Seema continued to work towards Post graduate training and has
successfully achieved her ‘masters of the joint faculty of the dental surgeons’ by passing an intense 3 part examination.
In 2010 she completed further training at the University of Newcastle in a yearlong ‘Core Course in Conscious Sedation’ and has a keen interest in pain free dentistry. Seema has specialized in treating dentally anxious/phobic patients and aims to make their experience as stress-free as possible.
She has competently been the Sedationist and dentist in over 200 cases of IV Sedation, and carried out treatment ranging from simple fillings and extractions to more complex procedures. She is known for her friendly and gentle manner, putting even the most nervous patients at ease.
Seema has also carried out further training in invisible braces and is a registered clearstep practitioner.
She also has a keen interest in whitening and cosmetic dentistry and completed the Aesthetic and Restorative Masterclass at King’s College London. To further her skills she is currently completing a one year postgraduate certificate course in contemporary restorative and cosmetic dentistry where she is undertaking training from the renowned Dominic Hassall. This course focuses on providing veneers, crowns and smile design, using the latest clinical techniques and reviewing the latest evidence regarding techniques and materials.
Seema has always wanted to work in an environment that was centred around the patient, where treatment is provided to the highest level in a comfortable, friendly and painless manner. She feels she has been able to achieve this here at Aldridge Dental Practice.
