Lost 2 back teeth. Regular NHS dentist could only offer cumbersome denture. Decided to look at 2 implants as permanent solution.

Searched the internet and decided to give Kelvin Lodge a look. Initial consultation set out all options and likely costs.
Andrew Greenwood and his team were calm, confident, thorough and highly professional.
The whole process took slightly longer than I anticipated but at the end of the process I stopped noticing the implants after a couple of days and life continues as normal.

The reason I required implants was because the bridge carrying my two front upper teeth broke at gum level. The alternative to a pallet was implants.
The procedure takes a number of months but final result is excellent.

Like a lot of people a visit to the dentist is not top of the list for a day out, but I must admit this was different.
From the first visit I felt at ease, Andrew and his team were very welcoming and reassuring,
Following a discussion of my problem Andrew outlined the options available to me, but I'd already accepted that I wanted implants. A pallet was not an option. Using an array of computer graphics Andrew went through the procedure and the time frame involved. The time frame is over a number of months, but the end result made it all worthwhile.
Appointments were made well in advantance and were followed up with a text reminder one or two days before the appointment date. at each visit Andrew outline what he was going to achieve that day.
Overall as a team, lead by Andrew, complemented one another very well. If I had to outline their strengths and weaknesses I'd say:

Strengths:
Communication between his team and the patient important.
Aspect to detail very important.
Health and Safety well covered.
Very knowledgeable.
Up to date with current procedures.

Weaknesses:
None to mention.

Going over my experience and visits to Kelvin Lodge I won't change anything. Perhaps in the future developments may allow the procedure time to be reduced. Well done everyone.

Dental bridges, dental implants.

I have just recently finished my treatment for replacing a bridge and two implants. I have to say I'm extremely pleased with the results, and wish I'd had it done earlier. The staff were polite, calming and very professional throughout the whole experience. From the minute you meet Andrew, you know you're in good hands because his knowledge and experience is immediately evident. I would have no hesitation in recommending Andrew to anyone that's in need of treatment for implants. Large, well maintained clinic set in a beautiful building within central Gosforth, and plenty of parking is a bonus! Going to the dentist is not something that people generally look forward to, so having treatment within nice surroundings makes it just that bit more pleasant! The staff throughout all areas of the practice are courteous and professional.

I recently had an implant done by Dr Greenwood at the Implant Foundation and can honestly say that I think he is the best there is. Dr Greenwood looks after you personally through every stage of the process and judging by his awards, certificates and credentials there is simply nobody better. Perhaps not the cheapest, but then again, the best never is.
