As his name suggests – originally from Nepal, being born in Kathmandu, is the principal of the two practices, having taken over the Consett practice in 1994 and the Newcastle practice in 2002.
Having qualified in 1990 from Newcastle University, he has over 21 years experience in general practice with specialist interests in cosmetic and implant dentistry.
He gained further qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1998 and his Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the prestigious University of Gothenburg in Sweden.
He has been through extensive implant training in Sweden, Sheffield University and Germany and is a member of the ADI ( Association of Dental Implantology UK) and the EAO – the European Association of Osseointegration. He has an active interest in cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics and is a certified Invisalign & Inman Aligner User.
He is also on the Board of the Faculty of General Dental Practice, recently gained a teaching qualification and has an active role in postgraduate dental education.
Recently he has been organising charity dental work in Nepal to help the poor people in the remote mountains of Nepal.
