Scared of the dentist? Well go here, I have had lots of work completed, pain-free, whilst watching brilliant films on special glasses, this eliminates sound which is perfect. The results have been great all old fillings replaced, 3 new veneers. I didn’t ever think I would be brave enough and all thanks to Mr Colin Houston. Wands not hands 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Astek have their dental lab on site which is how I believe all dentists should be set up. I had a front tooth knocked out in a childhood accident and have since been very conscious of the way my smile looks. In today's world of working on Teams and video calls for the main part, this was becoming more and more problematic for me. So along with attending appointments with my dentist, Leila, for general dentistry she took impressions and Ailsa, the proprietor, created two bespoke veneers to make my front teeth appear more normal and worked with both me and my lovely dentist, to tailor my smile when I wasn’t initially delighted with the result - cancelling afternoon appointments until we were done. Two veneers sound a simple, ordinary thing, but I actually didn’t have two front teeth to work with – just one front tooth and a smaller, differently shaped, side tooth which looked quite odd. I now don’t even think about my teeth when I’m on screen which is such a relief. Thank you so much Astek! To say I am a nervous patient is an understatement. Leila has been so patient and kind with me and I am so much more confident in the chair with her. She has also managed to sort out gum issues that have persisted for over 40 years, and now when I’m brushing my teeth there is no sign of anything in the sink but toothpaste. She also keeps me on track when I’m not doing as well as I should be, advising on which brushes, and toothpaste for sensitivity, and even demonstrating that you can get the largest of teepees into some very small spaces. Dr Zafar completed the 1st stage of my 2 upper implants on the 16th December. I was very nervous going in ( let’s be honest the idea of drilling into the jaw bone isn’t the nicest ) but, honestly; the worst part was a small ‘scratch’ feeling from the local numbing. The process was very quick and painless. Later that day when I got home I felt very tired and my upper jaw felt uncomfortable so I put myself up to bed early with some paracetamol. By the morning, to my surprise; I felt absolutely fine ( no further pain killers were even required). 6 weeks on everything has seemingly gone well… another month or so and I will be going back for the next stage! Very impressed so far with the work done 🤩

While on holiday in England, 2 of my husband's dental restorations popped off. I got online to look for a dentist near us and York Dental in Byfleet popped up. I contacted them via their chat on their website and I was immediately helped and scheduled. Dr Chibba worked us in on his schedule and carefully restored the 2 teeth. I have been a dentist in the states for 27 years and he did a spectacular job! He took his time and recreated the teeth from nothing. His staff are excellent and we were treated well from start to finish. I feel confident that if you are in need of a new dental home where you will receive the best in care, you should give Dr Chibba and the staff at York Dental a visit! You will never go anywhere else! During my 1st Consultation, I was made to feel very welcome and my mind was put at ease straight away. I hadn't seen a dentist in a long time and was very apprehensive, however, I needn't be worried as the dentist spoke to me calmly, explained the process and carried out my filling treatment comfortably.
