I took over Lawton Dental Practice in 2010, determined to transform it into a modern but warm and friendly practice, offering the most up to date dental treatment delivered to the highest standards. Dentistry is a great all round job – it is not just about ‘teeth’ but mainly about establishing a rapport with the patient, knowing your patient is vital to fulfilling their expectations. For too long dentistry has been perceived as something that patients have ‘done to them’ and of which they have no ‘control’ over. I would like to make that a thing of the past – dental disease can be modified by us – by the practice of good habits and home routine and my aim is to share those empowering principles with my clients, hopefully in the process making dentistry less of a ‘mystery’. Outside of work I like to spend time with my husband and daughter, in my spare time, I try to keep as fit as possible. I attend Pilates, step and toning classes and cycle and ski with my family and friends.
