York Orthodontics

She is the Practice Manager at York Orthodontics. She qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1994 and has gained further qualifications in Oral health Education, Dental Radiography and Practice Management. She has worked in Orthodontics since 1995 and joined York Orthodontics in 2002.

He graduated from Victoria University, Manchester with Honours and then worked in a number of teaching and district general hospitals in Maxillofacial Surgery. He was then based at the Birmingham Dental Hospital for 3 years as a registrar, working in all specialities of dentistry with close attachment to the Birmingham Childrens Hospital. During this time he gained his Fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. He studied Orthodontics at the Eastman Postgraduate Dental Institute, London. He gained his Masters degree and was awarded the Ian Reynolds Memorial Award for Research. This was followed by his Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Kate is our receptionist at York Orthodontics and she is the newest member of the team. Kate will be here to greet you when you contact the practice either by phone or in person. In her spare time Kate enjoys exercise classes and yoga. She also entertains at children's parties and fetes as a face painter.
