I had Invisalign treatment for the straightening of my crooked and prominent upper front teeth. I had been putting it off for many years but I finally took the plunge last year. I wish I had done it years ago. My teeth now look fantastic and I have gained so much confidence from having the treatment. I found Invisalign pretty easy to wear although I was given other options including the lingual braces fixed behind the teeth. Great experience at the practice. All the staff are friendly and professional and I immediately felt at ease with the orthodontist. All the surgeries were clean and modern.

Paul qualified in dentistry from the University of Liverpool in 1989 before working in hospital and university positions in the speciality of oral and maxillofacial surgery. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, in 1993.
Other experience includes working as a clinical lecturer at the University of Liverpool, Department of Clinical Dental Sciences, during this time he had a number of research projects published in dental journals. He also enjoyed a period working in general dental practice to broaden his experience.
Paul completed his specialist orthodontic training and Masters Degree in 1997 before setting up in specialist orthodontic practice. During his orthodontic training he won the Orthologic prize for the quality of his treatments presented at examination. In addition to working in orthodontic practice, Paul is a clinical tutor at Liverpool University, involved in the orthodontic training of post graduate students, as well as acting as orthodontic advisor to the Local Dental Committee and Primary Care Trust.
Paul is a member of the British Lingual Orthodontic Society and has presented research at the British Society of Dental Research.
Adrian graduated from Newcastle Dental School in 1991 having been awarded the ‘best undergraduate student’ prize. Work then took him to several hospitals gaining the experience necessary to pass the Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons.
Perhaps Adrian became interested in braces at an early age, as he’d had the benefit of treatment himself for rather ‘goofy’ teeth. He completed his Orthodontic training in Liverpool and Chester, being awarded a prize for ‘best treatment results’ of all UK Orthodontists to qualify in 1998. He has now over 12 years experience in brace treatments and is a registered specialist with the General Dental Council. Adrian also worked as a general dentist in 3 practices before setting up West House with Paul in 1998.
Adrian has published papers in scientific journals, regularly attends the American Orthodontic Conference to see ‘what’s new’, has chaired a session at the British Orthodontic Conference, and has been involved with planning future dental services with Wirral Primary Care Trust.
