where he went on with further postgraduate studies in Oral Surgery. He has extensive experience in dental implants, training in Canada for both his surgical and restorative diplomas in 1987/1988. He has worked closely with the design of various dental implant products, and is responsible for the introducing widely used surgical packs into the dental implant field.
He is currently involved in teaching dentists in the field of practical dental implantology. In addition to dental implants James has an interest in aesthetic dentistry and has worked with Larry Rosenthal the renowned New York smile makeover dentist.
He has a special interest in improving dental aesthetics involving the use of ceramic veneers and all porcelain crowns. He has worked extensively with tooth whitening and can use this in combination with the other systems that he works with to provide exceptional aesthetic results.
In addition to these James has a particular interest in dental hygiene and the prevention of disease. He ran a series of very successful postgraduate lectures for dental hygienists in the UK. He was responsible for establishing the first stand-alone dental hygienist practice in London as part of his drive to raise the awareness of the importance of dental hygiene.
He enjoys working with dentists and passing on his knowledge to help benefit them, and has trained many associate dentists over the years. He regularly attends international dental meetings to keep abreast of new developments in the dental world.
