His previous positions were as a Specialist Clinical Teacher at Guys Hospital, as a Postgraduate Dental Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and as a Senior Dental Officer for Hammersmith and Fulham Trust. Hatem now dedicates his time to Periodontics and Implant Dentistry in private practice, as a mentor/clinical coach for Astra Implant system, and as a co-organizer of a 10 day Astra Implant course
