Dr Jacobs is great and his staff make you very welcome and relaxed. I'm quite afraid of the dentist, but this is the best practice I've been to.
Been going to Dental FX for years now and it's top notch every time. Friendly staff, good with kids and reasonably priced .

I started working in Dentistry in 1991 and trained as a Dental Nurse and Oral Health Educator. My previous qualification in hotel management meant that I had a general grasp of business management and it is this area I concentrated in. I was Practice Manager in a private dental surgery in the West End of Glasgow for 10 years.
I joined Dental fx when the surgery opened in April 2006. In 2011 I gained a Professional Development Award in Dental Practice Management and won the Louisa Fraser Memorial Award and the accolade of Practice Manager of the Year for being the top student on the course. More recently I have become an Education Facilitator mentoring would be Practice Managers through courses run by NES, the education arm of the NHS.

I came to Dental fx in February 2007 straight after leaving school. I studied for my dental nurse qualification in the evening by attending Coatbridge College and passed the exam in 2009. I work as a Dental Nurse within Dental fx and am constantly working to improve my dental knowledge through CPD courses.
I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend and do lots of different activities outside of dentistry and regularly attend a local gym.

“I have been working at Dental fx since May 2006. I started working as a dental nurse when I left school in 1990 and continued to work as a dental nurse for 10 years. During that time I became interested in pursuing a career as a dental hygienist which I have now been doing for the past 10 years. I enjoy looking after and improving patients oral health in a caring environment and it is very rewarding to see nervous patients relaxing as they become regular attenders at the hygienist service. In my spare time (which isnt much!) I love to play tennis and in the winter months I also enjoy heading off to the ski slopes with my family.
