I qualified from University of Dundee in 1991 and have been practicing in East Kilbride since 1993, and joined Avondale in 2001. I am committed to providing an exceptional quality of care. To this end, over the last 6 years I have enjoyed working with my team to implement all the changes required to bring to the community a dental practice with the latest technology and attitude of delivering real choices to suit all our different lifestyle needs. My specialist interests are: Prevention, endodontics, restorative dentistry, cosmetic procedures including tooth-whitening, veneer, crown and bridge restorations, working with the leading laboratories in the field of natural restorations.

I qualified from the University of Glasgow in 2007 and started practicing at Avondale in February 2009. I enjoy meeting people and do my best to ensure that all visits here are as relaxed and comfortable as possible. This includes giving full explanations of procedures from start to finish, ensuring that I put my patients at ease. All treatment is patient centered with a particular emphasis on preventative care, especially with children.Amongst my interests within dentistry are advanced restorative dentistry, the prevention of periodontal disease and also the treatment of anxious patients. I am committed to continuing my training as a means to providing the highest standard of care and the latest techniques to my patients, to ensure you have a healthy smile both now and in the future.

I qualified from the Defence Dental Training Establishment in 2001 whilst serving in the Royal Navy. Since leaving the Royal Navy I have gained vast experience in a variety of dental practices throughout the UK. I joined Avondale in 2013 and I am delighted to be working in a preventative based practice. We work very hard to encourage our patients to achieve a healthy mouth that is easily maintained. Each patient I see is given a tailored plan to suit their needs and is fully involved in the planning of their on-going care. I pride myself in my treatments being gentle and pain-free but I offer local anesthesia if necessary. Cosmetically, I offer an Air Abrasion clean at the end of each treatment which is highly effective in the removal of stains and leaves patients with an incredibly fresh feeling mouth. I can also carry out tooth whitening in accordance with current GDC guidelines.
