Quigley Dental Practice - Northfleet Practice

Principal, Sidcup and Northfleet. She qualified from Kings College, London in 1987. She was chosen to work at Kings Hospital as a house surgeon in both restorative dentistry and oral surgery for the following year. Here she gained enormous experience which has enabled her to have a confident and professional approach to general practice. Dorothy takes great pride in her clinical ability and can recognise her own artistically placed restorations which have been carved and shaped to replace the original tooth anatomy. Every patient will have a gum disease check. Dorothy takes time and care to explain to her patients the significance of “pockets”. She is also experienced at treating nervous patients, putting them at their ease and converting them to regular patients.

Matt qualified from Barts and The London with honours and has been working in Kilburn, London in general practice since. Prior to this, Matt studied Biology and worked at the University of Cambridge. He likes to perform dentistry with a smile, to make patients comfortable in the dental environment. He is interested in general dentistry, crowns and oral surgery; and improving his patients' oral health. He also enjoys making a difference to those who may not have visited for a long time due to being nervous; throughout his time in Kilburn, he was able to treat many of these patients, many of whom are now regular attenders and have got over their fears. Matt has a keen interest in running and travelling, and lives in London. Matt joined the Quigley practice in September 2014.

Nicola graduated from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Dental Institute London in 2010. She completed Vocational Training in Edenbridge soon after where she developed a keen interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Nicola joined the Quigley Dental team in 2011 and works in both Northfleet and Sidcup practices. She advocates preventive and minimally invasive dentistry. Her gentle approach has enabled anxious patients to gain confidence in receiving dental care. Nicola has completed part one of the MJDF qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons and is passionate about keeping up to date with advances in dentistry. She is currently working towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Restorative Dental Practice at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, cooking, going to the gym and spending time with her friends and family.
