Knightsfield Dental Surgery

GDC No 114232 Maya qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2007 and joined the practice in 2008. She further qualified with a diploma of MJDF (Membership of the Joint Dental Faculty at the Royal College of Surgeons) in 2010. She is currently studying part time at UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London, on the MSc in Restorative Dental Practice programme. She genuinely enjoys all aspects of working in general dental practice, and especially being a part of a family orientated community practice. She has an interest in full mouth smile design and rehabilitation.

GDC No 211675 Sejal also qualified from the University of Sheffield. She joined the practice in May 2013. She qualified in 2011, and following vocational training in Leicester, she also qualified for the diploma of MDJF (Membership of the Joint Dental Faculty at the Royal College of Surgeons). She is especially enjoys treating children and has an excellent manner for anxious patients. GDC No 100762 Raj qualified as a dentist from Dr. MGR Medical University, India in 2000. He then worked in India for two years and moved to UK. He has worked in various Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery departments including Barnet, Sheffield and Nottinghamshire hospitals. This was followed by several positions for various health authorities and general dental practice. Raj has completed the “one to one” certificate course in dental implants at University of Sheffield. Subsequently, he has completed three years full-time specialist training in periodontology at Eastman Dental Institute, UCL (University College London) and gained the Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD) from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. He was also awarded EFP (European Federation of Periodontology) certificate of completion of specialised training in periodontology. Raj is happy to accept referrals for treatment of gum disease (non-surgical and surgical treatment of gum disease, gum disease treatment around implants, crown lengthening surgeries and periodontal plastic surgery)
