Orthodontist Consultation Dr Pieter van Heerden
Job Title: Orthodontist Biography: Pieter qualified as a Orthodontist in 1985 at the University of Pretoria. He completed his MChD in 1992 and moved to the UK. He worked as an associate in St Albans from 1993 and became principal of the same practice in 1998. He founded Harpenden Orthodontic Practice in 1999. He is a Fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontics. Pieter trained with Dr Dwight Damon, the inventor of the Damon system. He is a well known international speaker and has lectured extensively worldwide.
Dr Jan Malan
Job Title: Dentist Biography: BChD Jan qualified as a general dentist in 1983 after five and a half years study at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Jan joined the practice in 1999, originally working in our practice in St.Albans.
He has a special interest in orthodontics.
Dr Pieter Esterhuysen
Job Title: Dentist Biography: He obtained his research degree in medical science in 1991 and went on to qualify as a general dentist in 1995. He later went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics, all at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
