Dr Claudio Peru (DipDent, MSc Endo) Specialist EndodontistDr Claudio Peru qualified from Cagliari University (Italy). He has worked in general practice both in Italy and in England. He embarked on a full time masters degree course in 2003 and was included in the GDC specialist list in Endodontics. Claudio is familiar with the latest advances in Endodontics and has a wide range of experience in endodontic treatments and retreatments.He has been a clinical teacher in endodontics at Guys Hospital for eight years. Dr Kostas graduated from the School of Dentistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2007 winning the Personal Prize awarded by the Hellenic Scientific Society (January 2002) and Hellenic State Scholarships Foundation. Between 2007-2010, Kostas continued his post-graduate studies and successfully completed the specialist training in Endodontics and entered his name in the GDC Specialist List (Endodontics) UK successfully.

Since his graduation, he worked as an endodontist in several private practices in Greece and in the UK. Kostas has worked at Guy’s Hospital, King’s College London for seven months (January-July 2013) and is a co-ordinator in Central London NHS Trust for the provision of NHS Specialist Referral Service.

Vittorio graduated at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 1991. Subsequently he developed a special interest in Endodontics (root canal treatment and retreatment), attending many postgraduate private endodontics courses and the postgraduate program in Endodontics at the University of Naples. He worked in the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics of Rome “Tor Vergata” University and was an Endodontics consultant in the Fatebene Fratelli Hospital in Rome.

Since 1997 Vittorio is member of the Italian Society of Endodontics and at the moment he is the President elected of the Society. Vittorio served on the editorial Board of the Italian Endodontic Journal and he is reviewer for many international Journals and author of many Scientific articles. He also wrote chapters of Endodontic textbooks. Vittorio is a well known Opinion leader and he cooperates as trainer, developer and tester with leading factories of Endodontic tools. He lectures nationally and internationally, is a visiting professor at many academic postgraduate courses in Endodontics.

He works exclusively in Endodontics and Endodontic Surgery under microscopic magnification on referred patients since 1998. He is registered in the UK on the GDC specialist list in Endodontics.

Vinay graduated from King’s College London in 2012. After completing his dental foundation training in Leicester, he furthered his experience with Dental Core Training (DCT) posts in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. He obtained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2014.

He had a keen interest in Restorative dentistry, and he subsequently completed DCT posts in Restorative dentistry at King’s College Hospital and Birmingham Dental Hospital. During this time, he developed an interest in Endodontics and subsequently started an MClinDent in Endodontology at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute, which he completed with distinction.

Vinay recently passed the Membership in Endodontics examinations from the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of England and is on the GDC Specialist list for Endodontics. He teaches and mentors postgraduate dental students on the Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontic Practice from the Eastman Dental Institute.

For the past three years Vinay has limited his practice to Endodontics, and accepts internal and external referrals for complex root canal treatment procedures, as well as diagnosis of dental pain, trauma management and internal bleaching. Vinay has a calm manner and takes the time to discuss treatment options with his patients. He strives to ensure that his patients are relaxed and works towards providing them the best level of care.

Stefan originally qualified as a dental surgeon in King’s College London. Following his undergraduate training, Stefan’s pursuit of obtaining the expertise of advanced treatment planning led him to work across several different dental sectors in recent years.

Stefan further obtained his Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2013, now being an active member of the Royal College. He went on to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Contemporary Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry in July 2015.

Stefan finally undertook the four year full-time specialist training programme at the world renowned King’s College London Dental Institute, obtaining a dual distinction in both the Masters of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontology and Masters of Restorative Dentistry in 2019.

Stefan now works and lectures undergraduate and postgraduate students for King’s College London within Guy’s Dental hospital. He routinely takes on and successfully treats referral and failed restorative endodontic cases. He also tackles complex multi-disciplinary specialist cases including full mouth rehabilitations in conjunction with other specialists as part of his work within the hospitals.

Stefan has always prided himself on his meticulous work and strives for the perfect result, and his patients are always thankful for his gentle bedside manner. He is a fully specialist registered member of the British Dental Association, the Royal College of Surgeons in England, a full member of the British Endodontic Society and the European Society of Endodontology.

Dr Quinn qualified as a Dentist from the Queen’s University in Belfast in 1993. She then completed Diploma and Master’s degrees in Endodontic Practice at The Royal London Dental Hospital. She later gained a Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and was accepted on to the General Dental Council’s Specialist Register for Endodontics.

Alongside her work here in Tunbridge Wells, Dr Quinn is also a Specialist Endodontist at King’s College Hospital, London. In this role she treats patients with complex endodontic problems and those patients who have suffered severe dental trauma injuries. She is also a member of the clinical and academic teaching team and course examiner for the post-graduate Endodontic Diploma at King’s College Hospital. For several years Dr Quinn also taught Endodontics to Master’s students at the Royal London Dental Hospital.

Prior to specialising in Endodontics, Dr Quinn worked in general dental practice for many years. She uses her skills, knowledge and experience to ensure that all patients receive whole-patient dental care from the diagnostic stage, to treatment planning, delivery with the latest equipment and follow-up care.

Dr Quinn does have a life beyond endodontics! She has run 5 marathons and countless half-marathons, but is now content with walking and cycling by the Kent coast.

Dr Louise Vincer is originally from Kingston Upon Thames, and after leaving Tiffin Girls’ School, moved north to study dentistry for 5 years at the University of Leeds, graduating in 2008. After vocational training, Louise went on to work as a senior House Officer at Guy’s Hospital which involved further training in oral surgery and restorative dentistry, as well as the opportunity to present a research project at an international conference.

Inspired to continue with further training, Lousie enrolled in a four year specialist training programme in endodontics based at Guy’s Dental Hospital in London Bridge. Whilst completing the course, she has published her research project in the Journal of Endodontics, and has written a case report on indirect pulp capping in Dental update.

Lousie divides her time between working as a specialist endodontist at the practice, and teaching the postgraduate and undergraduate students Endodontics at Guy’s Hospital.

Outside of dentistry, Louise is a keen swimmer and completed at national level during her college years.

Pranay graduated from Cardiff University (BDS) in 2010. He has worked in the Oral and Maxillofacial Unit of Northwick Park Hospital in Harrow. During his time as a general practitioner he attained his Diploma of the Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons, England. He developed a keen interest in Prosthodontics and completed his extensive four year prosthodontic specialist training at Guy’s Hospital in London.

Pranay regularly attends national and international conferences in fixed and removable prosthodontics, thus keeping up to date with the most recent advancements. He is passionate about all aspects of prosthodontics from crown and bridgework to dentures, tooth wear and implant restorations. He is committed to providing excellent quality prosthodontic treatment that patients can be proud of.

Outside of dentistry Pranay has a keen interest in most sports, especially in football and cricket. He also enjoys travelling and seeing the sites of the world.

She then undertook general professional training with a year in general practice followed by 2 years as a Senior House Officer in Restorative Dentistry & Paediatric Dentistry. She then started as a Specialist Registrar in Restorative Dentistry at The Royal London Dental Hospital. I am an Honorary Consultant at King’s College, London where I have been teaching training specialists and dental students since 2008.

Isavella graduated in 2004 from the Dental School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. Since then she has been working in dental practice and in hospital in central London and in the Home counties.

In 2006 she accomplished a Masters degree in Prosthetic Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute of University College London.

Shortly after, she attained her Diploma of the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.

Since, she has completed a four year specialist training in Prosthodontics from King’s College London at Guy’s Hospital, and her practice is dedicated to replacing missing and broken down teeth. She enjoys all aspects of prosthodontics: dental implants rehabilitation, crowns and bridges, dentures as well as minimally invasive and adhesive techniques.

Isavella is teaching at the Dental Institute at King’s College London undergraduate dental students and at the Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics MClin Dent Programme. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and is currently completing the PG Diploma in Clinical Education.

When she is not at the practice Isavella is helping at fundraising events at her daughter’s school at Watford Grammar School for Girls. In her spare time, she is a children’s literature reviewer.

Sonia qualified from King’s College London in 2007 and has worked in general practice and hospitals. She is passionate about providing high quality and comfortable dentistry without compromising on the aesthetic outcome. Her particular interests lie in creating natural looking, beautiful smiles and in replacing missing teeth with implants, bridges and where appropriate dentures. She also enjoys the challenge of restoring mouths which have had more complicated problems such as tooth wear or failing dental work. Sonia is well-qualified to undertake complicated treatment plans and is a GDC-registered specialist in Prosthodontics, having obtained her Masters in Clinical Dentistry at King’s College London in 2014 and her Membership with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

Sonia has presented her Masters’ research at the International Association of Dental Research General Session in Seattle, Washington, USA and has taught at the Royal College of Surgeons of England and at King’s College London. She holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education.

When away from her dental instruments, Sonia enjoys travelling the world (every new place visited is her favourite place ever), spending time with friends and family, listening to live music and cooking.

Rajiv is a General Dental Council registered specialist in Periodontics. He graduated from the University of Bristol in 2004 before completing a year of vocational training in general practice. He continued to develop his skills working for the Community Dental Services treating children and patients with special needs, as well as nervous and anxious patients. Following a period enhancing surgical skills working as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, he pursued further training and experience in Restorative Dentistry at the Royal London Dental Hospital. This period of training culminated in gaining the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.Soon after this, he embarked upon four years of specialist training in the field of Periodontics at Guys Hospital which includes extensive training and experience within the field of dental implantology. As part of his specialist training, he also completed a Master of Clinical Dentistry degree in Periodontics at Kings College, London whilst also attaining the Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dhru graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2003. He then went on to complete a year of vocation training in general practice within the North Wales training scheme. He continued as an associate practitioner in the same dental practice for a few years thereafter, and further developing his skills and gaining experience in the general dental care of patients.

Following this he completed various hospital posts gaining further training within the various disciplines of dentistry. These included working as a Senior House Office in the department of Restorative dentistry at the Royal London Dental Hospital followed by posts of a Senior House Officer and a specialty doctor in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the North West London Hospitals NHS trust to further enhance his surgical skills.

During this period, Dhru also completed examinations allowing membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Rupal is a General Dental Council registered specialist in Periodontics,  she also works as a Consultant in Periodontology at Guys Hospital, London.

Rupal qualified from Guy’s Hospital (University of London) in 2004 with honours. She subsequently worked in the fields of Maxillofacial Surgery and General Dental Practice. She then completed a 4 year specialist training programme in Periodontology, including dental implants, at Kings College London.

She achieved the MFDS diploma from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and a Masters in Clinical Dentistry (Periodontology) from Guys Hospital, passing with a distinction. She also holds the Membership in Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons.

Rupal is heavily involved in teaching; she delivers Undergraduate and Post-graduate teaching for Kings College London, was a foundation dentist trainer in general practice.  She lectures nationally in periodontics and runs a number of study days for the London Deanery.  She has published in scientific journals, including the highly respected Journal of Periodontology.

Kruti is a registered Specialist Periodontist. She graduated from Kings College London ( BDS ) in 2011 and has worked in both general practice and in hospital at the maxillofacial unit at John Radcliffe Hospital.

Kruti then went on to complete her extensive three year Periodontology Specialist training at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Hospital where she gained her Masters in Clinical Dentistry. She then continued to attain her Membership of Periodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and her accreditation by the European Periodontology Federation.

She is passionate about periodontology and implantology and the important role it plays in the oral and general health of patients and is committed to providing high quality treatment and wants all her patients to feel happy and confident with their teeth and gums. Her practice is now limited to periodontology and implants and she always continues to develop her skills further.

Dr Luisa Lucchesi (BDS, MSc, MFDS RCS(Eng), MOrth RCS(Eng) - Specialist in Orthodontics

Luisa qualified with distinction from Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2003.  During her final year she was the winner of four undergraduate prizes.

She worked in general practice in Southend for two years and then gained further experience as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery and in the Paediatric and Restorative departments at Guy’s Hospital. She entered into the specialist training program in Orthodontics in 2007.

She obtained her MSc in Orthodontics in 2009 and was awarded the MSc prize for academic and clinical excellence. 

Luisa became a specialist orthodontist after gaining her Membership in Orthodontics (MOrth) in 2010. She also received the MOrth award for Clinical Excellence from her university.

Luisa now divides her time between specialist practice, where she uses the most up to date orthodontic appliances, and as an Associate Specialist in the orthodontic department at Southend Hospital where she treats very difficult cases that often require joint surgical care.  She has also taught on the undergraduate program at Barts and the London.

Luisa is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and presented her MSc research at the conference in 2010.

Ram is an associate specialist in Oral and maxillofacial surgery at Milton Keynes and Luton and Dunstable NHS teaching hospitals for 13 years. He worked in various large Oral and Maxillofacial surgery units since qualified. He did his masters in Oral and maxillofacial surgery at Glasgow university. His passion in lasers led him to do masters in lasers at Genoa university. Routinely carries out intravenous sedation for anxious patients for various oral surgical procedures. 

As a clinical supervisor in hospital, he is involved in training and supervising trainees in Oral Surgery. 

Over 15 years experience in Oral and maxillofacial surgery led to special interests in Surgical removal of teeth including wisdom teeth, 

Dental implants, Release of tongue and lip tie with lasers, Diagnosis and non-invasive management of Jaw joint disorders and Intravenous sedation for anxious patients

Yusuf graduated in dentistry from King’s College London in 2012. He worked in general practice and then went on to do three years of dental core training. Initially within multiple dental specialties at Guy’s Hospital, he then went on to do two years of Maxillofacial surgery at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and Russells Hall Hospital Dudley. He completed his Oral Surgery specialist training program at Guy’s Hospital and King’s College Hospital in 2021.

Yusuf works as a specialist at King’s College Hospital and particularly enjoys training other dentists and students in Oral Surgery. Yusuf prefers to be minimally invasive in all oral surgery procedures and particularly enjoys making the dental experience calming and comfortable for all patients. Yusuf has also published several research papers in the field of Oral Surgery.

When away from his dental instruments, Yusuf often picks up his DIY tools and does odd jobs around the house. He also enjoys running and reading a good book when he isn’t busy with family life.

Jashme qualified from King’s College London in 2007.  She gained experience in oral surgery and maxillofacial surgery working at Guy’s hospital, University College Hospital and Eastman dental hospital.

She was speciality registrar working at Guy’s and King’s College hospitals and obtained her CCST in oral surgery in March 2017. Currently, she works as a Senior Speciality dentist in the Oral Surgery department, King’s College Hospital.  Jashme’s training and friendly nature allows her manage complicated extractions and nervous patients.

Lidiana qualified from the University of Birmingham in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science degree in both Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. She is specially trained in the prevention and treatment of periodontal disease (gum disease). She has a meticulous approach to treatment with an emphasis on patient education and prevention.

She is focused on patients’ care and she aims to help them to improve their oral health and quality of life. She aims to provide an enjoyable and beneficial visit to the hygienist . Since qualifying, Lidiana has attended various courses to allow her to develop her skills and introduce new techniques, including both home and in-surgery tooth whitening to help brighten your smile.

Helen is our Clinical co-ordinator and head Nurse at UK Dental Specialists. Helen began working as a dental nurse in 1998 and has worked in all areas of dentistry.

She completed her NVQ level 3 in oral healthcare / Dental nursing in 2004 and has continued to gain certificates in dental radiography, oral health education, stop smoking advisor, completed her certificate in Dental Implant Nursing at Kings College London Helen is now completing an extensive course in Leading decontamination.

Helen fully enjoys her role and her experiences enable her to support the smooth running of the practice. Helen also ensures the practice is always stocked and equipped with the lasted and best dental technologies.
