Mouth Guard Dorset

I chose Smile Kind as I required specialist surgical treatment not available at my normal general practice dentist. They are on my general practice dentist's list for complex referrals. Also my wife had excellent treatment earlier this year at Smile Kind, to remove a troublesome wisdom tooth. My treatment was to extract a cracked and infected molar that was beyond repair, followed by a bone graft and associated initial procedures in preparation for a planned implant later this year. This process, from my initial assessment meeting with Sami and Sarah, the surgery itself last week, and next day post-op follow up phone call were completed with total professionalism and high skill. The surgery site in my jaw is already settling down after several days. Everything was explained in advance, the surgery itself was pain and stress-free, and patient care was exemplary. Without a doubt the best dentist I have ever been to. Excellent manners and courtesy, superb 'bedside manner' and careful to explain what is what while progressing through your treatment. Even more importantly for me (as I am a bit of a coward in a dentist's chair) is pain management. I didn't feel a thing even when undergoing lengthy and complex treatment. He even anaesthetises the local area with a spray before applying the primary anaesthetic by injection which is itself then pain-free. First-rate surgery!

Having a dentist who is friendly, trustworthy, highly clinically knowledgeable and actively listening to you in a clean and comfortable setting with caring staff around is 5* in my books. Alex has those qualities and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a dentist.
