East Street Dental Practice

BDS (U. London) DPDS (U. Bristol) PgCert (U. Bedfordshire). (GDC Registration number 54922). He qualified at Kings College Hospital, London, in 1980. After 5 years in the Royal Navy and working as an associate in Weymouth he bought this established practice in 1987. He has a special interest and experience in Orthodontics (that aspect of Dentistry concerned with the position of teeth) having worked part time for six years at Dorset County Hospital. He gained a diploma in postgraduate dental studies at the University of Bristol in 1996. He has been involved with managing the adaptation from hospital to general practice for young dentists for many years, following his PgCert in Dental Education he is now a fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He is a keen supporter of the British Dental Association and has held numerous local and national posts, within the organisation. He is a past President of the Wessex branch of the British Dental Association. He is currently a Director and sits on the National Executive committee of the association.

BDS (U. MANCHESTER), (GDC Registration number 209802). She qualified at Manchester in 2011. After moving to the south coast she worked for a year in a practice in Salisbury. She loves going to the gym and spending time with friends down at the beach. She is interesting in cooking, brownies being her specialty. Of an evening she enjoys curling up on the sofa with a good film. She hopes to see more of the world over the next few years. She is planning trips to Paris and Prague, seeing new sights and learning about other cultures.

After graduating from University College London with a BSc in Biomedical Science Raashi went West to Plymouth to study Dentistry.
