I would like to thank this clinic. I am absolutely surprised about all services in South Down Dental.

I am the person who dealt with reception by phone calls and emails. It's hard to remember when I had so polite and caring and professional receptionist. So biggest compliments from me.

As well the patient is extremely happy. He had risky wisdom teeth to remove when jaw nerve was very close to the roots. The dentist was confident enough about what he is doing. And did his work perfectly.

I had two sinus lifts in the last number of years both preformed by Dr Paula and her wonderful staff in the South Down Clinic. I can not recommend Dr Paula and all her staff enough, From the lovely ladies in reception to the helpful dental nurses. The surgery is a delight to enter bright and cheerful and I was made welcome and put at ease. The treatment I had was expensive but a payment plan helped me get it done. I am back to smiling with confidence. Can't thank Dr Paula and her team enough.

I was nervous going in but I needn't have been, from the lovely warm welcome at reception to get my tooth out it was a totally painless experience. Thank you Clodagh Mc Caffrey for an excellent job. I would highly recommend South Down Dental Clinic.

I had a wisdom tooth extracted under sedation as I am an extremely nervous patient when it comes to the dentist - absolutely terrified. Christopher carried out my treatment and from start to finish. He was brilliant and made my experience there great. Which I never thought I would say. Very calm, professional and put me at ease. I was in a bit of pain afterwards, Christopher loosened my stitch and I was fine.

Would highly recommend Christopher and south down dental clinic itself. Only thing I would have to say Patricia the manager at the desk could have been a bit friendlier. I felt like afterwards when I was at the desk paying everything was a hassle for her.

I had an implant placed after an accident and I am really pleased with the outcome. I would highly recommend.

I had a consultation in Drogheda first and was told that my wisdom tooth was growing into the tooth beside it, but because the latter was bad anyway, I decided to pull it out and let the wisdom tooth grow. I was very nervous about getting a tooth with a filling pulled, but my doctor said it shouldn't be a problem.

The filling was removed first and the tooth pulled, all with 0 pain, didn't feel a thing and the doctor kept asking if I was ok every 10 seconds. Thought I'd be disgusted with the sound of tooth breaking, but there was no sound! Phew. Very professional and friendly!

Beautiful clinic on Merchant's Quay, feels like a Dolce & Gabbana office. No posters of teeth or smiling people (why remind us of what we're there for?), calming music and dark wood colour scheme. Amazing place!

I had the root canal treatment which was very quick and effective. No adverse effects during the procedure or afterward. Impressed with service received. Excellent value for money and will be back in future - though hopefully not too soon!

I'm from Dublin but decided to take a trip up for wisdom tooth extraction . Brilliant treatment & recovery going well . Down here the clinics told me I'd need to be sedated , so treatment would of costs at least €550 . Christopher had my tooth out under local anaesthetic in about 5 minutes. Whole appointment & procedure cost €173 . My X-rays had been forwarded from regular dentist

Really good . I thought I was just going for a consultation re getting my wisdom tooth out , I left the clinic after about 30 mins minus the tooth ! Christopher assured me that it was a simple extraction , it was only being removed because it was crumbling , not impacted or infected etc. So plenty of local anaesthetic & some tugging & pulling it was out within 5 minutes . He was so nice & reassuring. I got a script for antibiotics & mouthwash. Whole thing cost €173 , a big difference from the quotes down here of at least €350. Definitely recommend them.

I received a very professional service from this Clinic and was at all times treated with dignity and respect. My Dentist is Mr Justin Barnes. The Dental Nurses varied. From the minute I entered the clinic I was put at ease. Justin came to the waiting room to collect me, putting me at complete ease. He constantly talked me through every step/aspect of the treatment. This approach lowered my anxiety and emabled me to feel confident through out. I am so pleased with my experience and treatment so far and would highly recommend this Clinic/Dentist to all.

I was scared stiff prior to attending the clinic to have a wisdom tooth extraction as was my first ever tooth extraction in my 57 years on this earth.

I need not have worried as I was really well looked after and the dentist, Christopher, was such a nice caring person who put me really at ease and dealt with my problem whilst reassuring and informing me as the procedure progressed. Excellent service indeed.

I was referred here to have my wisdom teeth removed. I was anxious and nervous, but the nursing and reception staff reassured me and the dentist was great. I would ask for another referral to this clinic if I needed more work done in the future.
