GDC Number 53576 Mark qualified from Birmingham University in 1979 and started work in general practice in Lichfield, and Sutton Coldfield. Mark moved with his family to Cornwall in 1988 and became principal of Kimberley Park Dental Practice in Falmouth where he remained until moving to Lander Dental Group in 1999. In 1997 Mark gained the Diploma in General Dental Practice from the Royal College of Surgeons. Continuing to develop his clinical skills, Mark has been placing implants since 2001 having gained the Certificate in Surgical and Prosthetic Implantology from the Eastman Dental Institute. He is a member of both the ADI and ITI. Following his keen interest in Cosmetic dentistry Mark completed a 1 year course in Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry in London and is a full member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD). Over the last 9 years Mark has undertaken basic and advanced training with the CEREC cad-cam system and is now a very experienced cerec user. He has more recently become involved in adult cosmetically focussed orthodontic treatment and has completed advanced training with Six Month Smiles and its UK competitor C-Fast. Marks main interests are Cosmetic dentistry and Smile design, Short term orthodontic treatment and Implantology. Mark is a Committee member of the Cornwall Independent Dental Practitioners Group.

GDC Number 57269 Nick qualified in 1982 at Kings College London and went on to work for many years in general practice in the City. In 1987, he made the decision to move to Cornwall and became a partner at Lander Dental. During this period Nick was a clinical assistant at Derriford Hospital in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, treating broken down and worn dentition, advanced gum disease and medically compromised patients. He subsequently gained postgraduate certificates in Restorative Dentistry (2001), Periodontology and Dental Materials at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. Placing implants has been a skill Nick has practiced since 2001, gaining the Certificate in Surgical and Prosthetic Implantology in 2002 and the Advanced Certificate in Implantology at the Eastman Dental Institute in 2006. Since 2010, Nick has been studying to gain the Diploma in Implantology at the Royal College of Surgeons, which is recognised as a gold standard qualification. Over the last 9 years Nick has also undertaken basic and advanced training in the CEREC™ Cad Cam system. He has trained and is current in Facial Aesthetics and is able to provide facial rejuvenation treatment. Nick is an active member of the ITI and ADI.

GDC Number 72392 Nick Wenger is a registered Specialist Orthodontist with the General Dental Council and an NHS Consultant Orthodontist. He is also a member of the British Orthodontic Society and British Dental Association. Nick holds a Master of Science Degree in Orthodontics from the University of London in addition to his Membership in Orthodontics and Fellowship in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He qualified as a Dentist from the Royal London Hospital in 1996. After qualification, Nick held a Commission in the Royal Navy for 7 years, reaching the rank of Surgeon Lieutenant Commander. During this time he served ashore in the UK, Canada and Brunei Darussalam. His deployments to sea included the West Indies, and the Mediterranean. In 1999 he underwent further training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Royal Hospital Haslar and Queen Alexandra’s Hospitals in Portsmouth, culminating in attaining his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. After leaving the Navy, Nick undertook his 3 year postgraduate orthodontic training at Guys Dental Hospital and the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. This was followed by a further two years training at the Bristol Dental Hospital culminating with attainment of his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Nick currently holds the post of Consultant in Orthodontics at The Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro. Being actively involved in Research and Clinical Audit allows Nick to remain at the forefront of the orthodontic profession. He has been extensively published in refereed journals and continues to be involved in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
