BDS MFDS RCSEd MSc(Implant Dentistry) AFHEA. He has been practicing dentistry since he qualified in 2000 and has developed expertise in the fields of restorative, surgical and implant dentistry. Since he left Bristol as a prize-winner he has spent much time gaining experience and furthering his skills in complex treatment of patients, both in hospital and dental practice. He enjoys his teaching, he is a Clinical Supervisor at the Peninsula Dental School and the Director of the Cornwall ITI Study Club. He is also a committee member for the Cornwall Independent Dental Practitioner Group. He is happy to take referrals for advanced restorative and implant dentistry as well as surgical dentistry and give advice on treatment planning. Born and educated in the Westcountry, Paul now enjoys living and working full-time in Cornwall. He has had a long association with Waterside Dentalcare and has had a valuable role in the development of the practice before becoming the Principal Dentist in 2011. Paul continually strives to combine his special skills with a devotion to compassionate dental care. Paul graduated from the University of Bristol Dental School in 2000 and spent time in practice before joining the Oral and Facial Surgery team at Royal Cornwall Hospital. Paul has many years experience in private practice and has taken a Masters Degree in Implant Dentistry at the internationally renowned UCL Eastman Dental Institute in London which he passed with Distinction.

BDS MFDS RCS Ed. GDC number 103270. She qualified as a dentist in 2006 at the University of Bristol. She worked in general dental practice for a year before accepting a senior house officer position in the department of Oral and Facial Surgery at Royal Cornwall Hospital. In 2010 Hannah completed a series of further post graduate examinations to become a member of the dental faculty at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. In 2009 Hannah became a Speciality Doctor in Oral and Facial Surgery where she still works. In addition to this, Hannah returned to general dental practice in 2011. Hannah enjoys treating patients who are particularly anxious. In addition to a lovely chair-side manner she is proficient in the use of acupucture and conscious sedation techniques.

Specialist in Restorative Dentistry and Periodontology - BDS, MFGDP(UK), MSc, MFDS RCS(Eng), FDS(Rest Dent)RCS. GDC number 69275. She qualified from Bristol University in 1993. After completing house officer posts in Restorative Dentistry and Oral Surgery, she worked in general dental practice for four years. During this time she obtained her Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners. She then went on to complete a Master’s degree in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute in 2000. Her research project during the course was later published in The International Journal of Prosthodontics. Following some time spent in private practice, she returned to the Eastman Dental Hospital to undertake a five-year specialist training programme in Restorative Dentistry. She completed this in 2007 and went on to work as a full-time Consultant in Restorative Dentistry in the Department of Periodontology at the Eastman. In 2012, she moved to Cornwall to be the Clinical Lead at the Truro Dental Education Facility of Peninsula Dental School. She is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and is a member of the British Dental Association and the British Society of Periodontology. She is currently taking a sabbatical while she carries out the data collection for her pHD, for which we wish her all the very best. We look forward to welcoming her back when she will be even more enlightened in the field Periodontology!
