Acibadem Hospital Bodrum

Well, what can I say, other than Dr Berna Atici is a miracle worker. I had 18 crowns and 8 laminated veneers and now I have my perfect smile.

The price was over 40% cheaper than UK prices. Acibadem was recommended by a family member living in Bodrum currently undergoing treatment themselves at the hospital. I was welcomed at the Acibadem Hospital by all. Its looks amazing inside, so clean and fresh. Rebecca Hall and Steven Clarke were also amazing, these two are the hospital's foreign liaison specialists and they do make you laugh and smile.

My treatment lasted two weeks, but I would suggest three weeks minimum for the same sort of treatment I had like I said Dr Berna is a miracle worker and everything ran perfectly and luckily we didn't run into any complications.

1st visit was X-Ray and discussing what treatment was best and how it would span out.
2nd visit was upper teeth prep, temporaries fitted.
3rd visit was lower teeth prep, temporaries fitted.
4th visit was temporaries removed, test with new crowns/veneers
5th Visit was crowned/veneers permanently fitted.

There was little to no pain during the procedure as Dr Berna numbed all areas of my mouth per visit as she knew I had a phobia about dentists.
As with all surgery based treatment, you will experience a little pain and discomfort in the healing process, but that's easily dealt with over the counter medication.

I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking dental treatment. My smile is perfect. Thank you.

I'm so impressed with the service!!! It's very professional, I couldn't be happier about the outcome!!! Dr. Berna is an amazing dentist. I had wide gaps between my teeth, she recommended crowns, it was the best decision. I hardly felt any pain, she's done a perfect job. I cannot stop looking at my smile now! I highly recommend Dr. Berna, I found the service to be very professional. Steve the rep was also so helpful he made me feel like I had known him for years! I had six crowns done for a fraction of the price quoted in the UK and the standard was so much better too. The finish is perfect and very natural looking.

We originally went to Dr. Berna because of dissatisfaction with the lab work done by local dentists. Since then, my husband and I have had extractions, many crowns, implants, a bridge as well as routine cleaning done by Dr. Berna. Also important, particularly for people like us who do not drive, i is the free pick-up service. Without this service we would have to use a local dentist.

On our first visit, we were impressed by Dr. Berna's good English, pleasant personality and friendly, reassuring manor.
Dr. Berna 's driver, Steven also makes the experience a pleasant one and is helpful with explaining procedures and treatments.

My upper front teeth had got into a fairly sorry state due to neglect, financial constraints and a busy life.
it had got to the stage where I was becoming embarrassed to smile openly when meeting new people and for photographs.
But I had an opportunity to visit Bodrum ( which is a wonderful resort!) and obtain an appointment with Dr Berna Atici who very promptly provided an analysis of what was required, what could be done, and to agree the best option for my budget and time availability.
Within the space of a week, so effectively 6 working days I was fitted with 9 crowns which has totally transformed my smile to the extent that one young friend has said without prompting that it has taken 10 years off my facial appearance!
Plus Dr Berna and Steve Clarke were able to arrange for the surgeon to visit from Istanbul so that I could have the preparatory work done for 3 implants in the lower jaw.
All of this done with top quality materials and in very pleasant surroundings, as soon as I sat up in the chair I had a great view of the sea1
I would certainly recommend this clinic and the total cost I am sure is less than half what I would have paid in the UK and maybe with not such high quality materials.
I am not particularly bothered about visiting dentists, probably because I have never experienced any real pain in the past.
There was naturally some discomfort as the anaesthetic from the implant treatment wore off but Dr Berna was careful to prescribe suitable antibiotic and painkillers.
That evening I was virtually back to normal and able to enjoy my meal at our beautiful hotel

I chose the Acibadem hospital and the treatment by Dr Berna as a result of an introduction via a very good friend who lived in Bodrum for a few years.
The hospital itself is modern, clean, with a very pleasant ambience, almost like a quality hotel.
All the staff were friendly and helpful and Dr Berna, as well as being very attractive, was very professional with a good command of English, likewise the visiting surgeon.
Steve Clarke, a charming Irish gentleman,is responsible for liaison with overseas visitors and he was very helpful in providing additional info about the treatment and answering any questions so I felt comfortable at all times and that my custom was important.
In the space of a week there was quite a lot to do and he ensured that the crowns were ready for collection and fitment, plus he picked me up and returned me to the hotel for the appointments
So I am very happy with the dental work, the manner in which I was treated and my increased appeal to the young ladies!
I am very much looking forward to returning for the completion of the implant work next April and have just arranged flights and hotel.
I could go after a minimum of 8 weeks but next April will be a very pleasant time to visit Bodrum.
I am delighted with the whole experience and would have no hesitation in recommending Acibadem Hospital and in particular Dr Berna Atici.

I was extremely lucky to of been recommended by a friend of mine, who had extensive dental work and bone graft carried out at Acibadem Hospital, to finally have some dental work carried out myself based on their recommendation!
The reason why I was so lucky is because I was absolutely petrified of the dentist however, I communicated with Stephen whilst I was still in the UK prior to booking everything. Not only did Stephen organise and arrange my consultations but all my appointments required with the amazing Berna.
(Stephen by the way is a very handsome Irish man) 😀
Upon arriving in Turkey Stephen collected me from the airport which was an absolute pleasure because he totally relaxed all of my anxieties!

Berna completed my veneers during my 2 week holiday with no upheaval or pain which enabled me to still relax and enjoy the sunshine. From the work carried out my teeth and smile have never had so my comments and compliments, so much so, that I'm taking a business colleague out on 15th September to meet with Berna.

I had a bad experience in Istanbul & the Dentist Did not use the implants he said he would.
I made contact with the Clinic and within a day Steve Clarke was in touch with me to make the appointment possible with Dr Berna and provide the Quote for the work I needed to finish my abutments & denture, He arranged to collect me from my Hotel for all my appointments, and he was very kind ,helpful and could not do enough for me. It was a pleasure to have him in my corner to help me.
Dr Berna is a lovely, kind & very through Dentist, and rose to the challenge that was required to make my new denture, and after a small hiccup has finished and given me a Perfect smile, that will keep me smiling for years to come.
I have recommend Dr Berna to several of my friends already and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone who may be in need of a Good Dentist.

Acibadem Bodrum Hastanesi is a Brand new Hospital with a very spacious and welcoming entrance, the Dental clinic is bright, spacious and is a very comfortable and is equipped with the most up to date equipment the facilities are second to none in my opinion.

After discussing how unhappy I was with my teeth over dinner one day with an English friend who lives in Turkey, I was quickly booked in to see Dr Berna 2 days later. After an initial X ray and clean and polish it was decided that I would need 20 Veneers, to be done under anaesthetic as I am nervous as hell with dentists, hence the bad teeth!! A competitive price was agreed (25%) cheaper than UK and I was to return 2 days later for the prep work to be done and temporary teeth to be put in. A further 2 days later, and on a Sunday my new veneers were fitted. I am now learning to smile again. I couldn't praise the professional service and high standards of care that Dr Berna provided with me enough. A big thanks also to Steve who helped with the patient liason. A true gentleman.

I can only describe Acibadem Hospital Bodrum as like a Spa hotel in the UK.
Spotlessly clean and with every possible item of modern technology to hand.
The staff in the dental clinic were very friendly, welcoming and patient.
Dr Berna explained everything perfectly and I cannot praise her enough for her patient and caring manner whilst undergoing my procedures.

I went to Berna asking for four veneers. We had a discussion and decided on six crowns and I couldn't be happier. I have not smiled properly for twenty years! She was very helpful, understanding and gentle. I didn't pick the cheapest clinic as you get what you pay for and I struck lucky with Berna.

I had 3 appointments - 1st was 1.5 hours and 2 more for 1 hour. After the 1st appointment I had temporary crowns and even these were amazing. Throughout the whole treatment I had no pain, aching or sensitivity. The whole experience was fantastic and was made even better by the car driver Steve who made me feel at ease from the moment he picked me up.
I now have the biggest smile in the world! Thank you Berna...you have changed my life!

Two crowns

Absolutely delighted at the treatment I received. Berner was extremely professional, but at the same very approachable. I felt no pain whilst the work was being done and thankfully none since. The driver is also worth a mention. Whatever time he said he would be there he was!! A first class service all round.

My wife and I went for treatment with crows, inlays, fillings ans whitening and we were very satisfied. The most modern equipment inclusive in-house production in 3D of crowns and inleys. We can recommend Dr. Berna Atici and her team to everybody.

I am currently on holiday in Turkey and I'm getting major dental work done. I have been putting it off for years, but a friend of mine that lives in Turkey told me about Berna! To be honest I nearly didn't come, but was I in for big surprise! The hospital is super modern and super hygienic. Berna speaks perfect English and is so gentle and friendly.The prices are very good compared to Ireland nearly 40% cheaper. I would have no hesitation recommending Berna. Great service.
