I visited Alan Clinic due to a concern that I had with an existing temporary crown and what appeared to be an abscess above it. My dental hygiene has been poor for far too long and I was quite embarrassed actually to go, but I'd put things off for far too long. The care I have received throughout the extensive work required has been exceptional and far exceeded my expectations. The result I have now, is a healthier mouth, a smile that I'm actually proud of and most of all I'm pain free whilst eating and drinking. I always say the same thing to my children and that is 'look after your teeth kids'.....my advice if you need to have dentistry work is don't hesitate to head over to Alan Clinic in İstanbul. Was at the clinic in November for 1st visit of all on 6. From first contact with Christopher who was excellent and very good communication throughout the booking process. Once booked I was introduced to Sheamus who talked me through plans before I arrived. On my first day at the clinic after the x-ray was taken everything was explained. Medication was discussed for after the surgery. Once surgery was completed I was in pain but this is to be expected as I had all my teeth extracted and all the implants inserted. Each of my following visits that week all went well and I’m due back in a couple of weeks to have the temporary teeth removed and ready for my bridge and crowns to be completed so I have my final result. My recovery was sore for maybe a week or so with a lot of swelling and bruising but again this was all explained to me before first surgery so when it happened I had no fear and knew it was expected. Once the swelling and bruising went after 5-10 days I have been ok and have had no pain and no issues. I look forward to my return visit in their excellent care and to visit the great city of Istanbul which I got to explore after my appointments each day. I was never in the clinic long so had time to explore and also rest. Sheamus has been brilliant and nothing is ever too much trouble again communicating and always at the end of the phone if I had any questions. The staff in the clinic were also very friendly and so helpful. Thanks all and see you again in a few weeks.
