Dr Teh Kiat Seong
Biography:
Dr Teh Kiat Seong graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1988 He started work as a dental officer at Dental Clinic, Singapore General Hospital. In 1989, he was selected as a trainee in the Restorative Department to study the prosthodontics programme.
He attained the Masters of Dental Surgery ( Prosthodontics) in 1992 from the National University of Singapore. Shortly after, he also attained his Membership from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1994. He worked at the Government Dental Clinic after his post graduate and then to the National Dental Centre. He has a keen interest in full mouth rehabilitation and implant dentistry.
After 8 years of honing his expertise in the specialty of prosthodontics in the institutions, he left for private practice in 2000. Dr Teh is active in the Prosthodontics Society of Singapore and was a past president of the society for 2 years.
In 2006 he was inducted to the Academy of Medicine, Chapter of Dental Surgeons.
Since 1993, Dr Teh has been a clinical instructor with the undergraduate dental school at the Faculty of Dentistry NUS.
