Dr Joey Donovan
Biography:
Dr Donovan hails from Cork, Ireland, where he graduated with Honours from the National University of Ireland. There, he received numerous university and national honours and awards, including the prestigious HH Stewart Scholarship, Tony Costello Medal, Irish Faculty of Primary Dental Care Bursary Award, Irish Endodontic Society Prize, as well as prizes in restorative dentistry, pharmacology, oral surgery and orthodontics. He also received College of Medicine and Health Scholarships for achieving 1st in his class in every undergraduate year of dental school.
He enjoys treating patients of all ages, and is a firm believer that patients achieve the best outcomes when they are involved in all decisions regarding their treatment. He particularly enjoys providing a relaxing experience for patients who are nervous about receiving dental treatment. Joey's interest in providing quality dental care extends beyond his work in Orange Orthodontics. He has participated in a dental volunteer programme in Nepal, raising funds and providing dental care to people in remote areas who have no access to vital dental treatment. He also took part in a free oral cancer screening service run by Cork University Hospital in Ireland.
