At Clinica Dentista, we follow a systematic yet personalized approach to identifying your  needs. This involves a 4-step process: 1.CONSULTATION AND EVALUATION  You will be asked to help us fill-up your health history including questions about your diet and lifestyle. This will give us a complete picture of your health. This is necessary in determining the treatment and medications appropriate for you. 2. EXAMINATION A pre-treatment examination usually includes actual oral examination which in some cases may require x-ray or other tests. This will help us identify your oral health care condition and treatment needs. 3.TREATMENT After your examination, we will set up a treatment program customized to your needs, budget and preferred schedule. A treatment may be as simple as cleaning (prophylaxis) or as complicated as oral surgery. A treatment may also include collaboration with our partner professionals depending on the field of specialization needed. 4.FOLLOW UP TREATMENT

Doctors Ocariza Dental Clinic - Dental Clinic in Philippines

Doctors Ocariza Dental Clinic

www.facebook.com/doctorsocariza 4003 Gen. T. De Leon, Valenzuela City
Doctors Ocariza’s dental practice started about a decade ago in a modest clinic in L. Bernardino Street, Gen. T. De Leon within residential zone. With just one dental chair, a periapical xray machine, dry heat sterilizer and top-of-the-line tools and medications. Since the beginning of their dental practice, Doctors Ocariza have shown even their colleagues their passion for Dentistry particularly Endodontics (treatment e.g. Root Canal Therapy), Dental Surgery and Orthodontics. A reason for other Dentist to flood them with case referrals. While working, they found time to be in school again for further studies because they believe they owe it to their patients to invest on enhancing their skills by updating themselves to state-of-the-art techniques and equipment. Even how busy the practice gets, they make sure they are updated with new studies and seminars. Doctors Ocariza are very zealous to provide the best treatment possible in every case. Unconscious of monetary advantage, they kept on investing on avant-garde paraphernalia and knowledge. Four years later, another clinic in Marilao, Bulacan was born. Located in a progressive area along McArthur Highway. They had a space good for two dental chairs. Little did they know the waiting room is always inhabited by loyal patients coming from as far as Baguio City, Laguna, Rizal, to Germany, London, Australia, U.S.A, Canada, Middle East, Japan, Indonesia and other parts of the globe. Dentures
A Denture is a Prosthodontic device which replaces missing teeth in the oral cavity. There is no need for you to get a denture if you take good care of your teeth and prevent subsequent tooth loss. The Dentures are custom made for the patients who have partial or completely missing teeth and classifying them on that basis, they are of two types: Complete and Partial Dentures. There have been admirable advances in the field of Prosthodontics enabling production of dentures that feel, function and appear nothing but natural. They have appealing aesthetics too and you can avoid any possible embarrassment with the help of these modern dentures. This however does not imply that there are no issues with modern dentures. Although dentures replace teeth, there never has been a just replacement for natural teeth. It will take time for your mouth (and brain) to acclimatize to the new foreign substance in the mouth. Everyday actions such as talking and eating will require practice and can take some time to get the hang of. For some people it might become extremely difficult for the brain to accept the denture and they constantly get gag reflex. Such people might have to consider implant supported palateless denture or hypnosis therapy.
Flexible Partial Dentures ₱8500 - ₱23625
Valplast® partials are custom-fabricated in a dental laboratory.  The preparation is relatively simple because your natural teeth dont need to be altered in any way. The Valplast® partial is virtually invisible because there are no telltale metal clasps, and the material itself blends with the tissue in your mouth so that the only thing that shows is your beautiful smile. When considering a removable partial, many people find the Valplast® Flexible Partial to be the most comfortable option, and the final restoration can be made very quickly! While the cost may be higher than a partial made with visible metal clasps, the results of the flexible partial are beautiful, and patient satisfaction is very high. The Valplast® Flexible Partial involves only non-invasive procedures, and gives you confidence in your restoration while talking, eating and most importantly, smiling!
Full Dentures ₱9000 - ₱50000
These are dentures made to cover the entire arch and employed in patients who have lost all their teeth either in the maxillary arch or mandibular arch or even both. Complete Dentures in lower jaw are difficult to manage than the upper jaw as they tend to get displaced easily due to the absence of suction. An overdenture is a slight modification of complete denture in which a few teeth remain which are shortened and the denture fits Over it (and hence the name Overdenture). An Overdenture has a few advantages like: The remaining natural teeth preserve the bone. The natural teeth also share some of the bite force during biting. The stability of the denture is improved. But an OverDenture is expensive and demands regular maintainance to prevent decay and gum disease.

Dentures
Complete dentures cover your entire jaw, either upper or lower. It rests directly on the gum that covers the bone. When it comes to dentures the most common source of agony is a bad fit. It’s something that’s hard to avoid since your gums are between a rock and a hard place. The rock is your jawbone, and that hard place is the hard acrylic liner that holds the prosthetic teeth. While some people can wear dentures without a single complaint, most denture wearers feel some discomfort. Reasons for discomfort and denture misfit are related to the ever-changing conditions in the mouth. Hard dentures don’t adjust to new shapes and hence most long-time denture wearers end up using some form of adhesive to increase stability while wearing their dentures.
Removable Partial Dentures
Removable partial dentures are often composed of a metal framework with plastic teeth and gum areas. The framework includes metal clasps or other attachments, which hold the denture in place.
Fixed Partial Dentures
These are porcelain dentures cemented in place and better simulate natural teeth. Bridges are more expensive than removable partial dentures and require healthy adjacent teeth to support them. A crown is placed over the adjace tooth, contains the "keyhole." The denture contains the "key." When you put in your denture, the "key" fits into the "keyhole" in the crown. This type of denture looks better because there are no clasps and it also fits tighter.
