I have lived in the Wakatipu Basin since 1995, and during this time have worked as a Dental Assistant for 17 years. I first met Philip and Joce while they operated out of the Queenstown Dental Practice, where I assisted them on a number of occasions. This is when I became interested in Orthodontics. I find the contact with patients and their families rewarding, and I especially enjoy, seeing the changes in their confidence and image as their treatment progresses.

I have worked with my husband Philip as Receptionist/Chairside Assistant for many years. I trained as a Secondary School Teacher after completing a Home Science qualification at Otago University and taught part-time for 15 years. I also assisted Philip in his two Branch practices in Te Anau and Queenstown as chair-side assistant and receptionist. I really enjoy working in the branch practices and especially the contact with the patients. The teenagers mature and become lively, interesting young people. Adult patients are very entertaining as they really want treatment and love the changes that their “new” smiles bring. Patients appreciate the changes orthodontic brings.
