Founder and the first multiple laser dentist in New Zealand and one of the first in Australasia to teach and evolve this technology to enhance dentistry. Dr Abdalla is an invited Associate Professor at Cagliari University in Sardinia, Italy and an affiliate member of the American Dental Association. He is an internationally respected speaker, author and educator in the fields of Laser Dentistry, Minimally Invasive, High-Tech Dentistry and Cosmetic Dentistry. He is the accredited course provider and examiner for The Queensland University Laser Certification program.

Who hails from Colombia, South America. Dr Alfonso has been with the Laser LifeCare Institute since 2008 and has a distinct interest in Laser Dentistry, Endodontics, Children's dentistry, Orthodontics and Early Dental-Facial Orthopaedics. With over 12 years experience treating children and young adults, Dr Alfonso will head up our new LaserKidsDental clinic.

Dental Hygienist. Former Guest of the Laser LifeCARE Institute and when the opportunity arose to join the Institute's staff she didn't hesitate. Her special interest is preventative dental care and she is particularly keen to help people develop good habits regarding their oral health management. She believes that future dental problems can be minimised, or eliminated altogether, by the adoption of simple and effective routines that will ensure healthy teeth and gums for a lifetime. Mekala is a qualified dental therapist and dental hygienist with a BHSc degree from AUT. She has lived in Auckland for almost 20 years and is married with a teenaged daughter.
