Specialty in Orthodontics exercised by the orthodontist. Consists in the positioning of objects called Brackets to obtain the alignment of the teeth and correction of bite problems as well as guiding the eruption of the teeth and the maxillary development producing an equilibration in your mouthparts and an ideal aesthetic  of your face.

We require the making of an orthodontic study for the diagnosis and this study includes:

*  Photographs

*  Taking panoramic radiographs

*  Making a lateral skull X-Ray

*  Making molds

With all these mentioned, the specialist will determine the problem to be treated, the approximate length of time and the objective we want to reach.

These are indicated when a tooth is severely damaged and cannot return to its regular function by a simple restoration, likewise, when the tooth has received endodontic treatment. It is made in approximately three appointments due to its elaboration in a dental laboratory. The dentist will have prepared the tooth and taken the mold. There are different types:

*  Metal

These are used when there is no space left for the positioning of porcelain and in accordance with the bite of the patient. They are economical.

*  Metal-Porcelain

These are the most recommended hence being very aesthetic. Porcelain is placed in the more visible areas.

*  Porcelain

These are the most aesthetic and they allow the passage of light because of the absence of metal. They are of a higher cost.

In this treatment we perform a routine review in which we include the taking of up to 5 digital radiographs at no cost.

Root Canal is a treatment consisting in eliminating the pulpal tissue of the tooth and replace it with an inorganic filler, this treatment must be performed by a specialist (endodontist), it lasts approximately 1hour 20 minutes or on some occasions, 2 appointments are required for its preparation, this will be determined by the endodontist.

*  What is a Retreatment?

This consists in having to do the endodontic procedure again to the already treated tooth which has been infected or appears to have pain.

*  What is a post?

Due to the extirpation of the tooth’s dental nerve that has been treated  the tooth tends to loose irrigation and dehydrates, this causes the tooth to become weak and it may fracture. It is recommended to place a post, metallic or ceramic, therefore giving the tooth new resistance.
