I was very happy with and rest on another appointment.

5 50 Fillings • Paid: $600

I can say I would absolutely recommend Dr. Aguilera, he is fantastic. I had some fillings done the same day as my consultant which I was very happy with and rest on another appointment. I was kinda scared for few reasons; 1) it is Mexico, 2) I fear the needle (which he was great I didn't feel anything), 3) my fillings failing from not being done correctly. I had been quoted pretty high in Oregon where I live, but he had a reasonable price that I couldn't not pass for not having dental insurance. I work as a dental assistant myself and looking around I felt the great comfort seeing that he uses the same materials as my office does and his awesome inter oral camera. Dr. Aguilera speaks English very well which helped me understand much more. He also helped me learn the correct dental words in Spanish to help me with my patients. I can also say his staff is great very nice. I had my dental work done and haven't had any problems. Thank you Dr. Aguilera :)

I loved Aguilera Dental

5 50 Root Canals • Paid: $40

I loved this clinic. At first I was very sceptical about going to Reynosa, but they assure me everything was fine and on the day of my visit they even sent someone to pick me up at the international bridge and from there we just cross the street and arrived at the clinic. The location was very convenient, literally steps from the bridge. The place is really nice and everyone there was very nice with me.

I loved Aguilera Dental. I am definitely coming back.

I am truly truly truly happy :)

5 50 Dental Implants • Paid: $16000

Part 2 After chatting with a couple from Oklahoma which specifically had gone down just to see Dr Aguilera from a recommendation of a friend of theirs, I felt even more at ease that I had made a good decision on selecting Dr Aguilera. 15 Minutes into my wait a smiling face poked out of the door and said “Mr. Monroe, ready to start working in Hollywood?” I was a little confused, so I said “Excuse me?” And the man replied “Yes, with the new smile you’re going to have you will get a lot of job offers in show business”. We all laughed including the couple from Oklahoma and then the man walked towards me and introduced himself as Dr Aguilera. I felt so at ease as if I had just bumped into an old friend. Needless to say, Dr Aguilera’s practice and service is top notch. His equipment looked better and newer than the ones I’ve seen at some doctors’ offices here in Houston. His staff is truly friendly and very polite. As far as Dr Aguilera, his expertise in the field of dentistry and dental implants exceeded my expectations by 200%. On top of that he is a true gentleman and has a terrific sense of humor. I am more than happy with the service and product. My treatment is not complete yet since it will take two more trips down there but it’s amazing to see the progress. I am truly truly truly happy :) So Dr Aguilera, if you’re reading this… THANK YOU!! There is absolutely no doubt in my mind in recommending him to anyone. Believe me, you will be more than happy with his services.

knowledgeable and informative

5 50 Dental Implants • Paid: $16000

My name is Frank Monroe and I live in Houston Texas. I wanted to relate my story about my experience with Dr Omar Aguilera and his clinic Aguilera Laser Clinic in Reynosa Mexico. Before I tell you the story, let me explain that the dental work that I needed was pretty extensive and here in Houston I was quoted 32K from one doctor and 37K from another. Yes, an arm and a leg, so that's when I decided to look for a more affordable way. I first contacted Dr Aguilera about 7 months ago to get general information about him and his practice. I was initially impressed with his resume and his friendly character, very approachable yet extremely knowledgeable and informative. Our conversation lasted about 20 minutes and I felt as if we were old high school buddies. I made an appointment to visit him in February. About a week before our appointment I received a call from his clinic to confirm my appointment and clarify the details. I must admit that at first I was a little concerned about going into Mexico with all the bad things that had been happening, but Dr Aguilera assured me that everything would be ok and that the general area where his clinic is located is probably the safest place in Mexico :) Needless to say, I was overwhelmed with joy when I got there because his clinic is literally less than 100 yards from the bridge. I had a big surprise was when I walked into his clinic. The waiting area was extremely clean, nicer than the Houston docs I had visited, and there were several old gringos like myself waiting to be seen or checked. The reception staff were extremely polite and friendly. They even offered cold bottled water. When does a reception staff in the states do that? Anyway, they told me that Dr Aguilera would see me soon at our scheduled time which was still in 30 minutes.

all with no pain

4.9 50 Dental Crowns, Dental X-Ray, Dentist Consultation, Molar Root Canal, Root Canals, Temporary Crown • Paid: $9500
Were you pleased with the treatment?

Absolutely - the cost was considerably lower than the cost with US dental plans and the quality was even better. I went from a horrid dental condition to a perfect smile in two months. The ONLY reason it took that long was the amount of work done and that he is 6 hrs away from me. I had 30 crowns and 2 root canals - all with no pain and even very little discomfort.

Would you recommend the clinic?

I already have to many of my friends. Omar simply fixed the problems with my teeth - no lectures, no BS. He treated me as a friend and I was always comfortable.

Would you return for further treatment?

Absolutely (and will soon)!

Dental Bridges

If you're missing one or more teeth, you may notice a difference in chewing and speaking. There are options to help restore your smile. Bridges help maintain the shape of your face, as well as alleviating the stress in your bite by replacing missing teeth. Sometimes called a fixed partial denture, a bridge replaces missing teeth with artificial teeth, looks great, and literally bridges the gap where one or more teeth may have been. The restoration can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain or a combination of these materials and is bonded onto surrounding teeth for support. Unlike a removable bridge, which you can take out and clean, a fixed bridge can only be removed by a dentist. An implant bridge attaches artificial teeth directly to the jaw or under the gum tissue. Depending on which type of bridge your dentist recommends, its success depends on its foundation. So it's very important to keep your remaining teeth healthy and strong.

Dental Implants

Crowns and conventional bridges or dentures may not be your only options when replacing missing teeth. For some people, dental implants offer a smile that looks and feels very natural. Surgically placed below the gums over a series of appointments, implants fuse to the jawbone and serve as a base for individual replacement teeth, bridges or a denture. Implants offer stability because they fuse to your bone. Integration of the implants into your jaw also helps your replacement teeth feel more natural and some people also find the secure fit more comfortable than conventional substitutes. Candidates for dental implants need to have healthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant. A thorough evaluation by your dentist will help determine whether you are a good candidate for dental implants.

Dentures

A denture is a removable replacement for missing teeth and the tissues connected to those teeth. It is made of acrylic plastic and sometimes porcelain and metal materials. A denture closely resembles natural gum tissue and teeth. Complete dentures replace all of the teeth, while partial dentures fill in the spaces created by missing teeth and prevent other teeth from shifting position. Complete dentures are "immediate" or "conventional. " An immediate denture is a complete denture or partial denture that is inserted on the same day, immediately following the removal of the natural teeth. The immediate denture acts as a Band-Aid to protect the tissues and reduce bleeding after tooth extraction. The conventional denture is ready for placement in the mouth about 8 to 12 weeks after the teeth have been removed and the gum tissue has healed. However, some dentists may recommend more time before placing a conventional denture.

Orthodontist Consultation

Orthodontic treatment is used to correct a “bad bite. ” This condition, known as a malocclusion, involves teeth that are crowded or crooked. In some cases, the upper and lower jaws may not meet properly and although the teeth may appear straight, the individual may have an uneven bite. Protruding, crowded or irregularly spaced teeth and jaw problems may be inherited. Thumb-sucking, losing teeth prematurely and accidents also can lead to these conditions. Correcting the problem can create a nice-looking smile, but more important, orthodontic treatment results in a healthier mouth. That’s because crooked and crowded teeth make cleaning the mouth difficult, which can lead to tooth decay, gum disease and possibly tooth loss. An improper bite can interfere with chewing and speaking, can cause abnormal wear to tooth enamel, and can lead to problems with the jaws.

Root canals

A root canal is a procedure done to save the damaged or dead pulp in the root canal of the tooth by cleaning out the diseased pulp and reshaping the canal. The canal is filled with a rubberlike substance called gutta–percha or another material to prevent recontamination of the tooth. The tooth is then permanently sealed, with possibly a post and/or a crown made of porcelain or metal alloy. This enables patients to keep the original tooth.

Veneers

There's no reason to put up with gaps in your teeth or with teeth that are stained, badly shaped or crooked. Today a veneer placed on top of your teeth can correct nature's mistake or the results of an injury and help you have a beautiful smile. Veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted of tooth-colored materials designed to cover the front side of teeth. They're made by a dental technician, usually in a dental lab, working from a model provided by your dentist. You should know that this is usually an irreversible process, because it's necessary to remove a small amount of enamel from your teeth to accommodate the shell. Your dentist may recommend that you avoid some foods and beverages that may stain or discolor your veneers such as coffee, tea or red wine. Sometimes a veneer might chip or fracture. But for many people the results are more than worth it.
