This clinic is excellent.
I have experience with visiting dentists in many countries. The office was conveniently located a very short walk from the pedestrian border crossing and a staff member met me to show me the way. From the first phone call to walking out the door after my first visit, I was treated with kindness and respect. All of the staff were pleasant, helpful and bilingual. I did not feel rushed. Dr. Chavez was thoughtful, honest, and clear in his explanations for my treatment plan taking the time to make sure I understood the procedures and the pros and cons. The office and treatment rooms were immaculate utilizing the most modern equipment and the doctor and staff followed strict hygiene protocols. I had minor procedures, a cleaning, filling and diagnostic x-rays, and will follow up with more extensive procedures.

TIP: If you are walking across the border and have global entry/ SENTRI, don’t forget your card. Walking back is a little tricky. I finally asked someone who looked like they knew. Stay to the left of the main line and continue to walk to the border gates. The locals expect this and most importantly there are NO signs to guide you. Border crossings are all a little different and that’s how it’s done at Nogales.

I had done Veneers with Dr. Chavez for one tooth which came out perfect. At first, I was not comfortable have the work done in Nogales, Mexico but the dentist in the USA was quite expensive compared to Mexico. I tried with Dr. Chavez and am absolutely happy with the result.

He speaks perfect English, is honest and caring and did the best job. I made a follow-up appointment for Root canal treatment. I know he will make me happy again. They also have a pick me up service at the Border.

I went to The Tooth Inc in Mexico because it was cheaper than any clinic I could have visited in the US. They did a root canal and crown for me. I’m absolutely thrilled with the results. Not only was the price a million times better than anywhere in America, but I believe the quality of treatment also surpassed US standards.

This clinic was excellent. It’s just like any clinic in the US, but only better. I attended all three follow-up visits afterwards. Everything was great, but I appreciated the gentle approach more than anything else.

Perfect English, honest, caring, concerned to do the best job. Dr. Chavez is a very nice funny guy and his wife who works at the front desk is ready to help in any way.

I had much dental work that I had fallen behind on, had gotten an estimate beyond my immediate means. I knew that there are fine Dentists in Mexico that do not charge nearly as much (less than half). There was a choice of many clinics in Nogales, and I picked the one that responded, and was professional in both marketing and communication and were very willing to work with my travel schedule.

I had an excellent experience. First of all, I had sent down a treatment plan devised by a local dentist (with a good reputation) and I received a reasonable bid based on the anticipated work. Once Dr. Chevez assessed me hands-on, he offered some significant changes in that plan and gave me a very good explanation relating why he felt that he would take a different approach. I have worked in medical my whole life, and have certainly had plenty of dental care by various dentists (I am 62yo) and his explanations really held water. I had already done some research based on his recommendations for crown placement that definitely coincided with up to date practice. In short, I have a great deal of confidence in his care and will be continuing to seek routine palliative/preventative care from him. I did spend a little more than the initial bid but in relation to services received and it was very fair.

This dentist is very knowledgeable about the latest techniques and procedures. I intend to return to have more work done. This was an excellent value not only for the work that was done but for the knowledge of how to get the best work done for the best price.

I had neglected my teeth for years, having been told by a dentist that all he would do was complete dentures. A friend told me she was happy with treatments she had received in Nogales. Dr. Mark in Tucson made an appointment for me with Dr. Chavez. Dr. Chavez said that with TLC and treatments he could save my teeth. So after periodontal surgery, bone grafting, three extractions and some partials I'm all set with healthy teeth and I sure I saved a bundle. I'm very happy with the personable, professional care I received.

I highly recommend Dr. Chavez and his warm friendly office. It was my best dental experience ever, even with the surgeries. The office is warm, friendly and clean. I plan to return for my cleanings.
