He is a Doctor of Dental Surgery, born in New York City in 1954, has been maintaining a private practice in Jerusalem since 1986, when he and his family made aliyah to Israel. After completing his B.A. at Yeshiva University, Dr. Abramson went to the Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, which is consistently ranked as one of the top dental schools in the world. After receiving his D.D.S. (Doctorate of Dental Surgery) from Colombia University in 1980, he went on to complete a residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City, where he received an advanced degree in General Dentistry. He then practiced dentistry in the New York metropolitan area for the next six years while concurrently holding a teaching position at the Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Abramson's experience with general dentistry and surgery, combined with his care and service for patients, makes his office a place people enjoy coming to, not only from Israel, but from around the world as well. He his wife and seven children live in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem. His oldest son, Ari, is currently a student at the Hebrew University Dental School at Hadassah, Jerusalem - in the hopes of joining his father one day.
