My son Matthew was extremely nervous of dentists. He needed an extraction and a filling done. He couldn’t even tolerate a routine clean and polish job being done . Previous attempts to have work done by other dentists failed. We booked a consultation with Conor, he listened to Matthew and reassured him it's okay to be nervous and that he could help him. He recommended IV sedation for Matthew, which I can only say worked so well on the day. All the work was done at one visit, Connor and Lorna were brilliant with Matthew, I can only highly recommend Conor and the team for nervous patients, 10 out of 10. Finished my treatment today I am so happy. Dr Shahin was my dentist. As an over 60 I was terrified of seeing a dentist again after a long absence. He was so understanding of my situation and put me at ease from the beginning. I can now smile again. They have seen it all and when you explain your background they understand. Not one bit of pain even though I had a lot done. Thank you, Shahin and staff.

Excellent people to deal with, went out of their way to get me an appointment, and then rang me immediately when they had a cancellation. Very courteous, and explained everything as it was being done. Got a tooth extracted, it was a troublesome one, it was of excellent value.

Hi, Gate Clinic Galway is a great place to go take care of your teeth. The team on duty was very professional, gentle, and kind to me. They explained very well what was going on and what to do in order to keep my teeth healthy. Jeannis was so courteous and very kind. She got me the appointment so quickly and assisted me to fill out the form. Hygienist Blaithin did a great job with my teeth, she took her time, and didn't rush. Nurse Patricia was very attentive and friendly. The end result was impeccable. They made me fell comfortable. They all showed excellent consumer service. I'm definitely coming back so soon. Very good dentist, took me in straight away. Was in pain an was a patient of Smiles and they didn't care. 100 percent happy with the root canal and crown work. Thanks a million. Will be going back next time. I need any work done in my mouth.

This is a superb dental clinic. My daughter had a very dark tooth from prev damage in front of her mouth and attended this clinic. To say a good job was done would be an understatement - it was superb - gave her back her confidence to smile now. Brilliant practice and would highly recommend.

I’m a nervous patient with gum disease. Due to Covid, it had been nearly a year since my last visit to the hygienist. I was expecting pain and discomfort and the usual lecture. Well, I was wrong.. Shauna, the hygienist, was amazing… I got pain-free but thoroughly clean and polished. The usual advice was delivered in sympathetic, non-hectoring tones. I’ll be back!

I began my appointments with Nick over 2 years ago. It was several years since I had been to any dentist and I just did not know where to start. I trusted him fully with every step of the process and committed myself to this wonderful clinic. I received numerous extensive treatments including crown, implant, extractions and orthodontic treatment. It was the best decision I ever made and I am over the moon with my lovely new smile and healthy teeth. An absolute credit to the dental profession and an asset to any patient who is in a position to choose this clinic.

I moved to West of Ireland nearly 4 years ago and since then I go to Niall McCarthy at Harourside Dental Clinic on a regular basis. I find Dr Niall exceptionally good. He has patience and talks you through everything you want to find out. He does the good quality of work and he has good prices too. I can't recommend him enough.
