A huge thank you to Shane and his Team for giving me the most amazing treatment I have ever experienced in a dental clinic. I broke my tooth in 2018 and I went to four different dentists before I was recommended, Shane. I was so nervous and worried about the implant treatment that I wanted to make sure that I was going to get the perfect smile.

It was a couple a months after I had gone to Shanes clinic and I was beyond comfortable with the treatment plan he had suggested to me. Shane explained to me on my first appointment that my treatment will take a year and that he would rather make sure I heal correctly than rushing to get it done.

Once I heard that I knew I could trust Shane with my treatment. I loved that he has taken the time before every appointment and explained to me step by step, in a way that I could understand what he was going to do that day. As I was also mid-way through my INVISALIGN treatment. Shane corresponded with my orthodontics throughout my treatment. He made it so easy for me when it came to me finishing off my braces. I cannot recommend Shane and his team enough. I have my family now going to him too. I have no fears or worries about anyone noticing my implant, I feel so happy and confident with my new smile.

I attended Dr Curran and he advised me that I needed 3 implants and some restorative work. I accepted his advice, I have had the treatment and am absolutely delighted with it and found the procedure very good value for money.

I found the clinic to be very efficient. All staff were friendly, efficient and positive. The clinic was very well run. The staff were very adaptable regarding time and appointments. Follow -up treatment was excellent.

I went to the Mayo Dental & Implant Clinic on Christmas eve with an abscess. I am the kind of person who is really frightened of dentists due to many negative and painful experiences. I will avoid going until I'm in extreme pain. I have to say that after visiting Dr Shane Curran my whole perspective has changed!!

The first thing that really surprised me was that once I was injected with the local anaesthetic, Shane gave it at least fives minutes before doing any work, thus giving the anaesthetic a chance to work. He talked me through the procedure as it was being done, and described the different sensations that I would experience such as a "grinding" or a "dull vibration". Knowing exactly what was happening gave me peace of mind to the point where I could barely believe it myself that I was completely calm! He also explains to you what needs to be done in a clear and detailed manner. there is no confusion and he,s a genuinely friendly man.Shane has a wealth of experience and knowledge under his dentistry belt to a point where he makes it look easy! He also offers so many tips and tricks in how to look after your teeth properly. Many of which I had never been told before! It is an absolute pleasure to have work done at the clinic.

I had such a positive experience here that I have since gone back for root canal treatment and an extraction. Every time I walk into the clinic I'm not phased at all. Not even by the sharp and pointy looking instruments! I know it sounds odd, but I actually feel great every time I leave as well. Its a great sense of relief to know a true professional has taken care of your teeth.

I am planning to have more work done (just a few fillings). I live in the UK and I actually fly over every time for an appointment because I have never experienced dentistry to this calibre. Trust me its completely 110% worth it. All of the staff are so friendly as well which makes the whole experience so much nicer. I highly recommend that you give this place a go! You have nothing to lose! except a tooth or two, but I promise you'll be okay with that!

I've made emergency appointment for my little boy as he was in pain with one of his front milk teeth. Unfortunately all I've got was quick examination, antibiotic and next appointment for two weeks. I paid €50 for all that. Antibiotic didn't help at all. We had no sleep for next two nights waiting for the medicine to kick off. Exhausted we've make an appointment to a different dentist, in Castlebar. She started with an x-ray and removed tooth painlessly. The x-ray also showed that there was no inflammation, so there was no need for any antibiotic in a first place. Totally disappointed.
