Swift and painless

4 50 Teeth Cleaning, Teeth Whitening

I had my teeth cleaned and x-rayed and filled by Dr Jennifer Collins. She whitened them too after the treatment was all finished. It was all fairly swift and painless, not like when I had fillings by my school dentist.

Thought she was good and professional and her treatment was painless . Her nurse was very nice . She charged well but I think she was worth the money. The whole team were very efficient. I will be going Back for sure.

Made me feel so relaxed before cleaning.

5 50 Fillings, Digital Dental X-Ray

Exam, filling and X-ray. I've already booked in again to get a cleaning. I have always been terrified going to the dentist, but everyone here made me feel so relaxed. So happy with my experience at D2 Dental.

He was an excellent dentist. Very nice staff. Delighted with treatments. My filling was shown to me and explained to me via X-ray. The cavity was pointed out. I was very nervous but everyone was very friendly and understanding. I felt no pain. Very relieved I went to this dental practice. Great location, as I work nearby! Will recommend to friends and family.

Not happy.

1.5 50 Dentist Consultation

Dr. Dunne is a bad dentist. His goal is to get you to come back in. My first visit was on the free consultation via my PPS number. I said to come back in and managed another two visits out of me and wanted me to come back in again. He never cleaned my teeth on the next visit either. Brought it up with him, but he just said go and book in again. Stay away from this dentist!

OK clinic, nice staff, but bad dentist. They are friendly and good at their job, but as I said, Dr. Dunne is an old hand at getting cash from his patients! I put in a complaint, but the response was poor.

Very personable and professional

4.9 50 Dental Checkup, Fillings • Paid: €290

checkup and fillings

I had the bad luck of needing 4 fillings after recently becoming unemployed. I had been to D2 dental before and remember them being friendly and very professional so I gave them a call. I had been quoted around the 450 euro mark and discussed my situation with the dentist (Jennifer) as we were chatting before the treatment began. She was very friendly and even gave me a discount on the price as she empathised with my situation. The fillings themselves were quick and painless and both the dentist and dental nurse were very personable and professional. Would highly recommend this practice to anyone who is considering getting work done!

Cleaning itself was done well and I'm happy with the results

1.8 50 Teeth Cleaning, Dental Checkup, Dental X-Ray • Paid: €120

Teeth Cleaning, Dental Checkup, Dental X-Ray

Got overcharged here, as far as I'm concerned. Went for a teeth cleaning and check-up, quoted 70 euro at reception right before going into the practice. During the check-up part I was brought into a room to get my teeth x-rayed, as it would help with the cleaning. I'm then told afterwards that actually that x-ray costs an extra 50 and "I probably should have told you that beforehand".

X-ray itself was a waste of time, he basically pointed out where my teeth were and repeated what I'd been already told earlier in the appointment. Cleaning itself was done well and I'm happy with the results.

Dear Patrick, We are sorry to learn that you believe that you were overcharged in our practice. As you were not informed of the cost of the x-ray beforehand and do not agree that it was necessary, we have today refunded you the full €50 cost of the x-ray. We are delighted that you consider your treatment was done well and are happy with the results representing the standard of excellent dental care that D2 Dental provide. We obviously cannot discuss your individual patient care in a public forum here, However, an x-ray is usually prescribed where a visual examination is not enough, to see 'below the gumline', for example to detect decay between teeth, check on bone density and health and to evaluate tooth root health and structure etc. This is not necessary at every appointment, only where a problem is thought to exist or after a long period since last dental health examination. We hope this addresses your concerns and look forward to caring for your future dental health needs here in D2 Dental Best wishes, D2 Dental team.

Very happy now

4.4 50 Dentist Consultation • Paid: €110

Broken Teeth

Went to D2 Dental last week with a broken tooth as couldn't get back to my old dentist in Carlow. Dr Dunne sorted it out for me with minimal fuss and I'm booked to go back for a cleaning and whitening before my sister's wedding in June. Very happy now.
