Completed Masters degree from GDC Ahmedabad in 1994 and has maintained a clinical practice in New Delhi for the last 18 years with special attention to Implantology and Aesthetic Dentistry . Dr Kumra has completed an Advanced Certificate Program in Aesthetic & Cosmetic Dentistry from New York University and is also a Member of the Indian Academy of Aesthetic & Cosmetic Dentistry (IAACD) . She is a member of the Indian Society of Implantology ( ISOI) and an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry(AAID) Chicago, USA. Dr Kumra is an opinion leader for Ivoclar Vivadent India. Ivoclar Vivadent is a world wide leader in developing high end dental products with its head office located at Schaan, Liechtenstein. Dr Kumra has been a speaker at various conferences at the National level and have also conducted workshops for dentists. She has many National Publications to her credit. She has been an Associate Editor of South Asian chapter of "Dental Practice" a British Journal. Dental Practice is the largest circulating dental journal in South Asia with more than twenty thousands dental professionals reading Dental Practice. Dr Kumra is the Professor & Head at Sudha Rustagi College of Dental Sciences and Research.In her academic career, she has been invited as external examiner to various universities of India. Has been appointed as an inspector by the Dental council of India for evaluating the standard and quality of education imparted by various universities. Was invited to the Goldman School of Dental Medicine, Boston university in 2006 and Eastman dental School, London in 2008 Was invited to Suffern, New York to see the Oral CDX Research facility and reporting center by Dr. Mark Rutenberg in November 2006 Visited the Nobel Biocare Zirconia milling centre at Sweden in 2008

She is presently Prof & Head at a prestigious Dental College in NCR. She has been a recipient of Colgate awards for distinction in the field of Dental surgery. She has published research articles in peer reviewed journals. Dr Sunanda has been amongst the pioneers of Myofunctional Dentofacial orthopaedics using Twin Block technique. She is well with all the techniques and systems in contemporary orthodontic treatment. Besides treating children with misaligned teeth and jaws , her areas of interest also include adult and surgical orthodontics. She is into practice of contemporary Orthodontics which include the lingual orthodontics, Damon system, microscrew implants etc. Dr. Sunanda has an eye for perfection and thorough knowledge about the facial harmony and dimensions which is most important aspect in the cosmetic treatment of misaligned teeth and jaws.
