Prof Dr Johnson Raja James graduated his BDS from Rajas Dental college and MDS from Ragas Dental College in 2007 with laurels. He area of interests include Lasers , Advanced Implantology & Piezosurgery . His main focus is Clinical research on Peri Implant Regeneration with Autologous Growth factors and Bone substitutes, especially in Full mouth Rehabilitations.
Dr Johnson’s pioneering efforts in the field of zygomatic implantology aims at reaching out this cutting edge technology to the masses . He has perfected the art and science of offering Zygomatic Implants as a treatment option to patients with highly atrophied maxilla as a Day Care procedure, probably done by less than 2% of Implantologists globally. He is an internationally certified mentor for the Extra maxillary approach in Zygomatic implants and has trained more than 200 dental surgeons in this procedure.
His desire to share his knowledge and expertise in advanced Implantology led to establishing a fully fledged exclusive Implant centre – IMPLANTREE , with state of the art training facilities in Chennai in with branched in Coimbatore & Tirunelveli. He was an active member of the Executive committee of the ISP , State Vice President of IDA Tamilnadu and Central Council member of IDA HO. He is an elected member of the Senate of the prestigious Tamilnadu Dr MGR Medical University and is also the proud recipient of the Young Achiever Award ( Implantology )in World Dental Congress 2018, London .
Prof Dr Johnson James is also the proud recipient of Asia Leadership award instituted by the World DentaL Council handed over by the Honourable Governor of Tamilnadu Shri Banwarilal Purohit.
