Dr. Alan Atillon was amazing! He seriously improved my smile and gave me the best advice. He is 100 times better than any dentist I have been to. He cares about his patients.

I told him I wanted to be back home for my daughter’s first day of school, and he accommodated me by opening up the office after hours. He goes above and beyond for all of his patients and he is very cut and dry.

I highly recommend Dr Alan Antilon at Dental Experts Guatemala. I was a little skeptical about traveling to another country for dental work, thankfully after a lot of research it turned out to be a really good decision. I had a full mouth makeover with multiple vaneers and crowns. I needed a couple of root canals also. I saved a lot on $$$$ compared to US prices. But most importantly he is extremely professional, fast working. He collected me from the airport and made the whole experience 5+ Stars. His surgery is the same or better than anything in the USA.

Though I have not yet received treatment, I wish to convey my appreciation to Dr Antillon for his quick and accommodating service. All aspects of my upcoming trip were well serviced including airport pick-up and living accommodations. I have been well informed throughout the process with phone calls and e-mail updates.

I am really looking forward to visiting his facility and, of course, beautiful Guatemala.

Treatment was excellent and very professional. I had 18 teeth removed and 8 implants put in over a three hour time period. There was no bleeding after and the pain level was low. After two days the temporary dentures was fitted. It has been about three weeks now and my gums are healed. The cost is about 1/4 to 1/5 the cost compared to prices in the US.

Most people might be worried about the crime and the unknown going to Guatemala but I was met at the airport by the mother of the Alan (dentist). I stayed at her house in the heart of Guatemala City, she is very nice and she spoke great English.

His mom drove me to the clinic and Alan drove me back. Of course, I have been there three times and travelled around with no problem.

Dr. Alan Antillón is a great dentist and a great guy. A great office high in a beautiful glass building overlooking Guatemala City. He has excellent dental and customer service skills, and excellent English which was a big help to this U.S. person. The staff was also amazing. The offices were nicer than any I've ever seen in the U.S. Alan gave me all my options and explained everything he did with my treatment, was able to save my tooth nerve and fitted me for a crown. The cost was much less the same treatment would have been in the States. This was the first time in more than 60 years I've had nova cane injections with no pain whatsoever. Also, there was no pain during the treatment.

After a long and careful research. I ended up choosing Dr. Allan Antillon to put my veneers, based on the great job I saw that he did from different pictures posted on his website. Everything turned out great and it was finally one of my best decisions. For a fraction of the cost that it could have been in Canada or the US. I was able to fix my smile to a perfect white that looks very natural. At the clinic, the staff is welcoming and very helpful, the doctor himself made me feel really comfortable with his confidence and experience. I can say finally I am extremely happy with the results.

I have a history of periodontal issues and was traveling in Central America when my gums began to feel very tender. I received a deep cleaning treatment (debridement) on my first visit and cosmetic resin placement in my second.

This was not what I had had in mind initially but Doctor Alan advised me to do this rather than the treatment that would have been more costly and invasive. For me, this is a true indication that he puts patient care and long-term benefits at the forefront of everything he does. The treatment itself was excellent. It is often very unpleasant, but great care was taken to numb me completely, to reassure me throughout and to carry out all of the work with minimum discomfort.

I was keen to book an appointment with an expert and liked Dental Experts website, not only because it was written in English but also because of their expertise in periodontics. I was so very impressed by the treatment and care I received from Doctor Alan and his team. From the speed with which he responded to my enquiry and the way in which he reassured me to the fact that he arranged to pick me up and organise Uber trips back after treatment. He gave me some excellent advice which helped to steer me towards a course of treatment that was significantly less expensive than what I had envisaged. I was so lucky to have found Doctor Alan's clinic and would not hesitate to recommend wholeheartedly to anyone seeking dental treatment in this part of the world.

I had a four tooth bridge installed and also one crown. Shortly after I had a six-year-old implant finished out after other dentists declined to do the difficult procedure.

A+ All the Way! Dr. Antillon is my Favorite all-time dentist, out of a couple dozen I've been to in over 60 years. He presented a courteous, sensitive chair-side manner always, pausing for any of your questions or needs.

Flexible to accommodate appointment to my other travel needs [as his schedule could provide] from the moment he met me at the airport until the last visit and his driving me back to my hotel.

Fast reliable Communication making calls abroad always as needed. His English is clear and fluent and he speaks other languages.

His Office is in a modern, secure high rise which is in a nice safe neighborhood. His Fees are fair and a great bargain for those also from the US. Never any pressure to oversell you or not hear your concerns.

I have already given his name to three potential patients who I hope will come to find him the dentist to meet their needs as he did mine.

Dr. Alan and his staff were first class professionals. His dental work is excellent. I will go back for my future needs.

Our experience at Dental Experts Guatemala could not have been better. From our first email contact with Dr. Alan, he was always quick to respond and willing to answer any and all of our questions related to our possible treatment needs. His expertise and honesty were fundamental as we were choosing which dental provider to go with.

Even though we ended up not needing, he offered to help us find a place to stay in Guatemala City as well as pick us up at the airport. He was always checking in on us through WhatsApp to make sure all was going well and we were also getting some tourism in between our scheduled appointments. He would pick us up at the hotel for our appointments and then promptly bring us back after the services were rendered. He had previously blocked those office hours for us and was working around our needs, not his usual schedule.

My husband and I had a very large amount of dental work done and all in just 6 days! Incredible time management! I can't even begin to talk about this amazing team - Top notch professionals!!! This was the first time I felt absolutely no pain during a root canal. They're amazing!

Everyone is very friendly and language is definitely not an issue. At least someone in the office can speak English, German, Portuguese or Spanish.
From now on, they will be our family dentists. It is very much worth the trip. And Guatemala is beautiful and safer than most people think. Such a bonus vacation can be added to your dental visit. We can honestly say we are looking forward to our next dental visit.

Dr. Alan was actually recommended to me by a friend in NY. I had texted and email Dr. Alan about a treatment I was planning on doing. But I held off and did my treatment here at NY. I was visiting my sister in law with my wife in Guatemala. I had mention Dr. Alan to my sister in law who had had work done at is office. I was very impressed with what I saw. I decided to see Dr. Alan. After reviewing what had to be done I decided to have the work started immediately. I had a bridge set for my lower front teeth. And also started implants also on my lowers.

To say the least my experience with Dr. Alan was beyond my expectations. He carefully described the work that he was doing. He made me feel comfortable and at ease. During the procedure, I felt no discomfort at all. Dr. Alan's office is advanced with the state of the art equipment. It is clean and his staff is superior. So besides seeing a beautiful country, I made a new friend. I will definitely recommend Dr. Alan to all my friends and Family.
