Fillings
Guaranteed for 5 years.
Fillings are selected as a treatment method when tooth morphology has been altered, mainly due to tooth decay, and needs to be restored.
The materials used to seal a tooth cavity are either resin or porcelain.
Fillings can be direct (after adequately preparing the tooth, the dentist, at one appointment, replaces the missing parts of the tooth morphology with resin) or indirect (the missing part of the tooth will be fabricated by a dental laboratory based on an impression taken by the dentist and, during a second appointment, the dentist will cement the filling into place).
The material used in indirect fillings can be resin, composite resin, porcelain, gold, etc. In direct fillings, resin or amalgam can be used.
