There are two basic types of REPAIRS: simple repairs and repairs with impressions. Different fees apply to each type of repair. The dentist will need to see the denture to determine the extent of the repair required, or if the denture can be repaired. It may not be possible to repair an older denture that has experienced considerable wear.

Flexible partial dentures ,

are custom-fabricated in a dental laboratory. They are prescription-only products that are placed by a licensed dentist after an impression of your mouth has been taken. Most flexible partial dentures involve very simple preparation because your natural teeth don't need to be altered in any way. Flexible partials can be virtually invisible because there are no telltale metal clasps to cover your natural teeth. Furthermore, most flexible materials blend with the tissue in your mouth so that the only thing that shows is your beautiful smile.

This removable denture is inserted on the same day that the remaining teeth are removed. Your dentist will take measurements and make models of your jaw during a preliminary visit. You don’t have to be without teeth during the healing period, but may need to have the denture relined or remade after your jaw has healed. 

Removable partial dentures usually consist of replacement teeth attached to pink or gum-colored plastic bases. Depending on your needs, your dentist will design a partial denture for you. A partial denture may have a metal framework and clasps that connect to your teeth, or they can have other connectors that are more natural looking. In some cases, a removable partial denture is made to attach to your natural teeth with devices called precision attachments. Precision attachments are generally more esthetic than clasps.

Crowns on your natural teeth are sometimes needed to improve the fit of a removable partial denture and they are usually required with attachments. Partial dentures with precision attachments generally cost more than those with clasps. 

Dental emergency involves the head,teeth or gingiva. Pain or discomfort involving these parts of the body even when minor, can indicate a severe underlying problem that would worsen with time so you should look for a professional evaluation to minimise damage to your teeth. 

An extraction means to have a tooth removed, usually because of disease, trauma or crowding.

To treat a cavity the dentist will remove the decayed portion of the tooth and then "fill" the area on the tooth where the decayed material was removed.

Porcelain fillings are tooth-colored with excellent translucency.

This means that after the dental procedure no one can tell the difference between the natural teeth with porcelain fillings and natural teeth without them.

Temporary restoration

 is a temporary filling of a prepared tooth

until permanent restoration is carried out.

Temporary fillings are also used for 'stabilization' techniques where many restorations are needed, and the problem may become worse before it can be fully treated – so temporary fillings are placed in order to stop progression.

Fluoride helps prevent tooth decay by making the tooth more resistant to acid attacks from plaque bacteria and sugars in the mouth. It also reverses early decay. 

A dentist in his or her office can also apply fluoride to the teeth as a gel, foam, or varnish. These treatments contain a much higher level of fluoride than the amount found in toothpastes and mouth rinses. Varnishes are painted on the teeth; foams are put into a mouth guard, which is applied to the teeth for one to four minutes; gels can be painted on or applied via a mouth guard.
