Education

Dr. Vinicio Prada is a native of Costa Rica and had a bilingual high school education. In 1990 he earned the Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Facultad de Odontologia, University de Costa Rica. The dental program at U.C.R. is Costa Ricas most rigorous dental program.

In 1994 Dr. Prada earned a degree as a Specialist in Prosthodontics. The post graduate degree was awarded upon completion of a full two year graduate program at the Louisiana State University, New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A. Dr. Prada completed three postgraduate clinical internships...one at Ochsner Medical Center, New Orleans, La., at Louisiana State University, New Orleans, and the third in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at Charity Hospital, New Orleans, La.

His Career

Dr. Vinicio Prada has been in private practice here in Escazu, Costa Rica since 1994. He has been a Regional Director of Service, provided by the state run medical services here in Costa Rica. Dr. Prada in on the faculty of Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, Professor of Prosthodontics, and is recognized as one of leading teachers in his specialty.

Has presented several lectures and table clinics in Costa Rica, Colombia, México, Panama and the United States. Has published in prestigious journals such as Implant Dentistry and Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry.
