In 1992, he served in a General Practice Residency internship at The Medical Center of Delaware in Delaware, USA. He completed a four year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Medical Center of Delaware in 1996. He completed his Fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (FRCD) this same year.

He received his undergraduate and doctoral education at the University of Western Ontario followed by postgraduate training at the University of Toronto and University of Western Ontario. He has successfully completed the specialty examinations of both the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Canada and has served as an advisor and examiner for both specialty organizations.

Level II Dental Assistant. She graduated from Fanshawe College in London in 2000. She is a H.A.R.P., First Aid and CPR certified level I & II dental assistant.
