Dr. Arun Narang fulfills the desires of his patients by designing customized, beautiful smiles. He currently practices implant, cosmetic and restorative dentistry in Mississauga and Oakville. He received his dental degree from the University of Toronto and is an active member of the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology. To keep up-to-date in the ever-changing world of dentistry, Dr. Narang attends various continuing education courses throughout the year.
Arun was an elected Executive Member of the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (TACD) for 4 years and is now the President of the TACD. He has authored numerous articles on the latest dental issues which have been published in the Mississauga News & Oakville Beaver and is the host of the “Smile File” on Rogers TV.
Arun is committed to aesthetic dentistry and has been working since 1984 to provide patients with the best that dentistry has to offer. He believes that restoring a persons smile and therefore appearance can be a life enhancing experience. “The most important thing is to listen to your patients”, says Arun. “My goal is to help clients keep their smiles looking their very best and feeling their healthiest.” Arun supports numerous charities including Operation Eyesight Universal and the Children’s Wish Foundation. He is also dedicated to assisting victims of domestic violence providing consultation and treatment to individuals who have sustained dental injury as a result of a violent domestic attack.
Dr. Edward Venerus graduated from the University of Toronto Dental program in 1992. Prior to this he earned his Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacology with a Major in Physiology. He has been an integral part of the team for over 17 years.
Dr. Venerus is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, and the Toronto Crown & Bridge Study Club. He is constantly attending conventions, lectures and numerous seminars covering a wide array of topics; ranging from endodontics to cosmetics. He believes that continuing education is an essential part of doing modern dentistry.
Dr. Venerus shares his experience and skills as part-time instructor at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto in both the Restorative Clinic and Oral Medicine Department.
Dr. Venerus enjoys the sense of accomplishment in helping people who are in pain become pain free and giving people who have always disliked their teeth the smile theyve always wanted. He finds comprehensive dentistry the most rewarding, “It involves all aspects of dentistry from basic fillings and cleanings to the latest cosmetic or implant-related procedure. Allowing me to take patients who are having pain or difficulty eating and not only correct that basic problem but then see them get a new sense of pride in their oral health and feel good about their smile.”
Dr. Shawn Monga completed a Bachelor of Science degree at McMaster University, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto in 2004. Having grown up in Mississauga, Dr. Monga attended high school at Mentor College where he received the Governor General’s Bronze Medal for outstanding academic achievement amongst his classmates. Prior to deciding on a career in dentistry, Dr. Monga apprenticed under the direction of Dr. Narang, an experience that confirmed his interest in pursuing his talents in the field.
Always seeking to expand his inventory of dental knowledge and techniques, Dr. Monga decided on furthering his education through a one-year, optional General Practice Residency Program at Montefirore Medical Centre emphasizing oral surgeries and paediatric dentistry.
Dr. Monga believes that the learning never ends, and continues to sharpen his skills through various continuing education courses in all aspects of dentistry. He is currently a member of the Toronto Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the South Asian Dental Association, and the Ontario Dental Association. He is also an alumnus of the Xi Psi Phi dental fraternity.
Dr. Monga enjoys all facets of dentistry. In particular, he finds the ability to restore a smile and educate patients on the relationship between good oral hygiene and overall health and well being to be the most rewarding.
