Dr. Soni graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Genetics degree in 1994 and a Dentistry degree in 1998. He then pursued a year of advanced dental training at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio where he received additional training in all aspects of general dentistry, particularly oral surgery, childrens dentistry, and dentistry for patients with special needs.
Dr. Kim attended the University of Western Ontario for 2 years with his undergraduate studies focusing on science and graduated with Honours, from the University of Toronto in 2003 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
