Dr Anthony Crombie
Biography:
Graduated from medicine and dentistry from the University of Queensland. Following residency at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, he commenced training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery through the Queensland Regional Training Program. His training included two years at the Gold Coast Hospital where he received extensive training in the management of facial skin cancer. He spent his final year of training in Liverpool, UK at the prestigious Aintree University Hospital and Alder Hey Children’s Hospital gaining further training in the management of head and neck cancer, salivary gland disease and craniofacial/cleft lip and palate surgery. During this period, he was also successful in obtaining the specialist examination in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery through the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCS(OMFS)). Following this, he undertook further training in the management of head and neck cancer at the University of Maryland Medical Centre in Baltimore, USA and Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital.
