Dr Harris Carter graduated from Otago University New Zealand with Distinction in 2002. Dr Carter graduated top of his class and awarded numerous elite awards including the New Zealand Dental Association Prize for Excellence in General Dental Practice, Harvey Brown Prize for Excellence, Gold Medal in Clinical Dentistry, New Zealand Health Boards Dental Surgeons Association Prize, Leask Memorial Medal, Craddock Prize, and the University of Otago Award in Dentistry. Driven by his deep passion for Implant Dentistry, Dr Carter is in constant pursuit of perfection and excellence; that echoed his distinction educationally and professionally. In 2007, Dr Carter completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry in Oral Implants at Sydney University with Distinction and has been operating all his private practices located in Parramatta and North Shore areas since 2002. Dr Carter’s highly clinical skills in implant dentistry, surgical and prosthodontics, computer guided surgery, Implant research and Invisalign orthodontics were highly recognized and admired by both his colleagues and patients. Dr Carter believes in continuing education and the need to be at the forefront with the current techniques and materials that enhance and ensure his patients care and comfort. The approach Dr Carter performs the treatment to his patient is evidence based. Dr Carter is an active member of local as well as international organizations like the Australian Dental Association, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, International Team for Implantology, European Association of Osseointegration, Australasian Osseointegration Society and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
