Job Title: Orthodontist Biography: Robert Cerny’s early years of education were spent in Tasmania, but he is now a long-term resident of Newcastle. He graduated from Sydney University in 1972 with his General Dental Degree (BDS) and then practiced as a Dental Officer at Richmond RAAF Base for three years. In 1978, he graduated with his Masters Degree in Orthodontics (MDSc) from Sydney University. In that same year he moved to Newcastle, with his family and began what is now the longest running orthodontic practice in the Newcastle Hunter Region.
Dr Robert W. Chapman
Job Title: Orthodontist Biography: Robert Chapman is a long-time resident of the Lake Macquarie region with his early education completed at Warners Bay High School. He attended Sydney University and graduated with his General Dental Degree (BDS) in 1978. He practiced general dentistry in the Warners Bay and Maitland areas before returning to study his Masters Degree in Orthodontics (MDSc) at Sydney University, graduating in 1983 where he subsequently joined Dr Robert Cerny.
Dr Steven Cave
Job Title: Orthodontist Biography: Steven Cave was born in the local area and attended school at Kotara High. He completed his General Dental Degree (BDS) at Sydney University in 1993 and graduated with First Class Honours and was awarded the University Medal. He then practiced general dentistry at Charlestown for four years. In 1997 he moved to Brisbane where he attended the University of Queensland where he obtained his Masters Degree in Orthodontics (MDSc).
